Universal Studios Creating New Experiences in Honor of 100th Anniversary

Universal Studios is creating new experiences and attractions in honor of the movie studios’ 100th anniversary.

Universal Orlando Resort is adding a ride based on Despicable Me, a Hollywood Drive-In Miniature Golf Course and an expansion of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  These new attractions will add to the already expansive theme park, which is also home to the Hulk Coaster, The Simpsons Ride, and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. The Orlando theme park is planning even more, though, to pay homage to 100 years of movie making.

Rumor has it there is a new experience in the works for Universal Studios Orlando.  They have been constructing a new show to replace Universal 360 in their main theme park lagoon.  Large rigging for projection screens and rows of water fountains have been added to the lagoon.  It is widely thought the new experience will feature Universal Studio’s vast film catalog for a nighttime spectacular.

A new parade is also in the works for Universal Orlando Resort.
