Universal Orlando Resort Reveals Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit Song List

Universal Orlando Resorts new Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster is an entirely new kind of ride. It features first-ever maneuvers, high tech innovations and a unique new way to experience music. The coaster’s playlist features over 30 hits from artists that span five genres of music. The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit coaster is the only ride of its kind that combines music and thrills in such a manner, creating an interactive experience set to a playlist that is all your own.

Guests will use a personal touchpad mounted on the lap bar to make their music selection. They will choose their favorite genre – Classic Rock/Metal, Rap/Hip-Hop, Club/Electronica, Pop/Disco or Country – and then pick a song. Each seat is outfitted with individual stereo speakers so guests can rock out to 90 decibels of music – and yet never hear the songs playing for other riders. Their song pick will be the soundtrack to their ride and to a music video they can purchase that uses on – and off -board cameras to mix music, moves and special effects.
