Gatorland visitors will soar to new heights this summer as the park opens the world’s first zip line constructed over giant alligator and crocodile habitats.
The one-of-a-kind attraction will feature 1,200 feet of zipline. There are seven platforms throughout the zipline tour which will be designed to replicate the Breeding Marsh Tower.
The Screamin’ Gator Zipline exceeds seven stories in height and boasts speeds near 30mph. The $1.5 million dollar project includes four distinct ziplines, ranging from 230 feet to more than 485 feet. The experience includes an orientation session, a nature walk through the swamp, four zips and a swinging bridge. The cost is $60 per person and includes an all-day admission to the Gatorland.
Gatorland is a 110-acre theme park and wildlife preserve dedicated to Florida alligators and crocodiles.
