The Orlando theme parks get into the spirit of the 4th of July holiday with spectacular firework displays. Many of the Orlando attractions have announced their displays for this year’s event, all of which plan to fill the night sky with fantastic spectacles.
The Magic Kingdom at Disney World will present “Celebrate America Fireworks” at 9pm on July 4. After the fireworks, guests can enjoy Disney’s “Main Street Electrical Parade,” scheduled for 10pm and midnight. Disney has extended hours on July 4, with the park remaining open from 8am-1am. For guests that want to beat the crowds, Disney is also blasting off a special firework display on July 3 at 9pm, with the “Main Street Electrical Parade” scheduled for 10:30pm.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios firework display will be presented at 9:50pm on July 4 and will be set to a rock ‘n roll soundtrack. “Fantasmic!” will complement the firework extravaganza, with show times at 9pm & 10:30pm.
Epcot will add a special patriotic finale to “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth,” which features special effects, colorful lasers and fireworks choreographed to a musical score. The performance will begin at 10pm. The Voice of Liberty 4th of July Concert will take place earlier in the day at Epcot, at 12:30pm, 1:45pm & 3pm, on the American Gardens Theatre stage. It will feature an expanded cast plus the Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corps and Disney Characters. Park hours will be from 9am-10pm.

SeaWorld is hosting AfterDark all summer long, and on July 4 they add to the excitement with some patriotic flourishes. The 13th Army Band, Florida National Guard will perform at Bayside Stadium prior to the fireworks finale at Sea World. This band, known as the Governor’s Own Band, will play classic and current tunes, before the special 4th of July Reflections show, which will be timed to patriotic music. The performance begins at 9:45pm. Park hours will be from 9am-11pm on July 4. Sea World tickets are on sale now.
Over at Universal Studios, the 4th of July will be celebrated with a special Universal 360 – A Cinesphere Spectacular. Universal 360: A Cinesphere Spectacular is a high-tech lagoon show at Universal Studios Florida featuring famous scenes from more than 100 Universal Pictures films. The show uses four-story-tall, 360-degree projection “cinespheres,” original music, outdoor speakers, lasers and pyrotechnic effects to place guests in the center of their favorite films. The show begins at 10 p.m. Universal Studios tickets are on sale now.
