Orlando is hosting the biggest Stars Wars fan event of all time from August 12-15, 2010. Located at the Orange County Convention Center, this celebration will commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back. It will also feature celebrities, costumes, live entertainment, screenings, autographs, collectibles, panels and mores. Star Wars Celebration V is the official Lucasfilm convention.
A main feature of the event will be when The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart interviews director George Lucas. The hour-long conversation will focus on the Star Wars fans and the elements of Star Wars that have helped it endure for more than 30 years. In addition to The Daily show’s Jon Stewart, other celebrity guests will include Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Jake Lloyd, Peter Mayhew and several other Star Wars alums.
