Halloween Horror Nights Haunted Houses
Seeds of Extinction
When humanity is wiped out by a cataclysmic meteor, a monstrous entity takes root. As you step carefully through familiar sights, you’ll notice that all has been overgrown by invasive vegetation. Soon, you realize these plants are alive, hungry, and you’re easy pickings. Watch your back for strangling vines, deadly beautiful blooms, and phosphorescent plants that glow with deep, dark evil. Trust us, you do not want to stop to smell the roses.
Carnival Graveyard: Rust in Pieces
Everyone knows that creepy carnivals should be avoided at all costs. Yet, you’ll let curiosity get the best of you as you walk through this once cheery place. Something sinister now lies in places of popcorn and candy, smiles and laughs—waiting to torment all those who trespass. Carnival rides, games, and equipment are now rusted over and void of fun. Although, the vicious performers stalking you are ready to have their fair share of fun! Play gory carnival games, where losing has a terrible price. Visit the Tunnel of Love where formers lovers have been terribly memorialized. And, then, there’s the show stopper. You’ll never forget that…
Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights wouldn’t be complete without a gruesome haunted house name like Slaughter Sinema, right? Get your tickets for a movie at the local drive-in. Although, you won’t catch a movie; the movie catches you. Watch in horror as each 80s B movie comes to life before your eyes. Everything from werewolf bikers to bloodthirsty children are climbing out of the screen all with one goal: getting you.
Trick ‘r Treat
Play by the rules or pay the price. Sam, a vengeful trick-or-treater, waits patiently for the chance to treat rule-breakers to his not-so-sweet Halloween surprises. You wouldn’t be caught dead breaking the rules when Sam’s around. Conquer the five twisted stories of Trick ‘r Treat and discover the fate of those who failed to honor the tradition. So, trick or treat?
Dead Exposure: Patient Zero
Our planet has been infected with a ghoulish biological outbreak and the pandemic is turning everyone into blood-thirsty zombies. Before you know it, you’re enveloped in darkness. But, they can still see you. Will you escape with your life in tact? Now is not a good time to be afraid of the dark!
The newest haunted house to join the ranks at Halloween Horror Nights is themed around Netflix’s fan-favorite, Stranger Things. The Demogorgon has entered our world and it’s up to you to fight it. Follow in the footsteps of the show’s heroes as you transport between Hawkins, Indiana and the Upside Down in an attempt to escape the ever constant nightmares and chaos.
Just Announced! Poltergeist
We all know the spine-tingling story of Poltergeist. Relive every moment at Halloween Horror Nights! And yes, the freaky clown will be there, too. Come into the light. After all, all are welcome…
Halloween Horror Nights Scare Zones
Revenge of Chucky
The little doll that haunted our nightmares as kids is back. And after 30 years, he’s on a destructive bender. Scream in horror as Chucky turns a toy fair to life on the streets of Hollywood. Your favorite toys have now been transformed into the things of nightmares. Look out for Chucky along the way… he’s dying to play.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Hear that sound? That’s the mad giggle of a Killer Klown ready to invade Universal Orlando! Step up to the interstellar big top for a bite of cotton candy. That is, until you realize this sweet treat isn’t made from sugar, but human victims like you. Will you be the next to be devoured?
Doesn’t it seem as though an old barn is the backdrop for almost every horror scenario? Take a photo op at this barn located at the Avenue of the Stars, but be warned. Is this barn truly abandoned?
Something evil has reawakened in Central Park and run wild. With coiled viper vines and rotting, moldy pumpkins, something is just not right… are the plants seeking out human sacrifices? Could you be next?
Vamp 85: New Year’s Eve
The date is December 31, 1984. The ball is about to drop in New York City as a blood-sucking DJ counts down the biggest hits of the 80s. This party bites, literally. Keep an eye out for fanged punks, big-haired blood-suckers and lace-gloved vampires hunt as you party. When this year ends, so will you.
Halloween Horror Nights Live Shows
In addition to haunted houses and shrieking scare zones, Halloween Horror Nights hosts live entertainment throughout the park.
Academy of Villains
This world-class group of artists is back for an all-new, amped up performance featuring a wicked mix of dance, acrobatics and theatrics.
Keep an eye out for more live shows scattered about the park in 2018.
Tips for Visiting Halloween Horror Nights
For the best (and scariest) time ever, keep our visiting tips in mind:
Universal Orlando Resort Attractions
During Halloween Horror Nights, several of Universal Studios’ starring attractions are open too. Plus, since the haunted houses are the highlight of the event visitors usually have no lines for rides. Typical attractions available for Halloween Horror Nights include:
- TRANSFORMERS The Ride – 3D
- Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit
- MEN IN BLACK: Alien Attack
- Revenge of the Mummy
- The Simpsons Ride
Ride operations may vary from day-to-day. Check ride times and operation as you enter the park. Please note, if you purchase a HHN Express Pass, it works on the rides in addition to the haunted houses.
Leave the Kids at Home
While your child may be the biggest horror movie fan, they may not be able to handle the scares at Halloween Horror Nights. The event may be too intense for young children and is not recommended for children under the age of 13.
For the safety of all involved, no costumes or masks are allowed at the event.
Purchase Tickets in Advance
Since Halloween Horror Nights is a specially-ticketed event, your general admission tickets will not be valid for this event. And, because this is a premier Halloween event, tickets will sell out! Purchase your Halloween Horror Nights tickets ASAP! That is, if you dare…
