Join us for lots of festive fun #BuiltForKids throughout the theme park as we celebrate the season! Christmas Bricktacular is included with all forms of Park admission - no extra ticket or cost required! Event highlights include: • Don’t miss our dazzling, 30-foot-tall LEGO Christmas tree outside Market Restaurant, which comes alight several times each evening with a beautiful combination of synchronized lights and favorite holiday music, plus an occasional snow flurry! • Say hello to LEGO Santa and LEGO Toy Soldier • Send letters to the North Pole and hear stories told by Mrs. Claus • Capture precious memories at our one-of-a-kind photo ops, including a life-size Santa, sleigh and reindeer made out of thousands of LEGO bricks, and – new this year – from inside a giant snow globe or with our giant LEGO Christmas wreath • Help us create a giant LEGO mosaic and look for Santa’s LEGO elf hiding in the theme park • Enjoy classic Christmas songs performed by the returning LEGO Brickettes Download the full event guide here: http://bit.ly/2mEJAln

Young Maker Workshops: Holiday Edition

Orlando Science Center’s Young Maker Workshops help hone maker skills! This month, join us for a very special holiday edition of this popular event! Practice the skills you need to build a gingerbread house. You'll learn how to make and pipe icing, and how to put walls together to build your house. At the end, you'll go home with a recipe for scrumptious gingerbread and a template to help you design your structure! This free workshop is first-come, first-served and takes between 30-40 minutes to complete. The activity is designed for families to enjoy together. ************* TIMES There will be three workshops on Saturdays and Sundays through December 23 in Dr. Dare’s Lab, inside of Our Planet on Level 4. Space is limited and is first-come, first-served. Workshops run for approximately 40 minutes and begin at: • 11:30 a.m. • 1:30 p.m. • 3:00 p.m. Times and locations are subject to change. ************* COST Experience Young Maker Workshops with admission to Orlando Science Center which is free for Members, $20.95 for adults, $18.95 for seniors and students, and $14.95 for youth (ages 3 – 11). Tickets include access to all four floors of exhibits, giant screen and 3D educational films, one Hollywood film, and live programming. Science for All – General Admission Access Program: If you have an Access Florida EBT card and a valid form of photo ID, please show it at the admissions desk to receive $3 admission per person for up to six individuals. This discount applies to general admission and may not be applicable for special engagement exhibits or certain events.

Unlock the mysteries behind “cool science” as we explore and experiment with the fascinating physical and chemical properties of ice, snow, liquid nitrogen and more! NEW Science Saturdays are designed for your preschooler (3 – 5 years) and you! This program meets select Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Additional workshops will be offered throughout the fall and spring semesters. Bill Burr

Bill Burr is one of the top comedic voices of his generation achieving success in TV and film as well as the live stage. Bill sells out theaters internationally and his Monday Morning Podcast is one of the most downloaded comedy podcasts on iTunes. The second season of his hit animated Netflix series, F Is For Family, premiered on May 30, 2017 featuring Bill, Laura Dern and Justin Long as the Murphy family. Bill was seen in the Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell film, Daddy’s Home, he co-stars opposite Kevin Costner in the indie film, Black or White, was seen in the Paul Feig film, The Heat, alongside Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, and in the Al Pacino and Christopher Walken film Stand Up Guys. Bill received raves for his recurring role as “Kuby” on the hit AMC-TV show, Breaking Bad. On December 5, 2014, Bill premiered his fourth hour-long comedy special, I’m Sorry You Feel That Way, on Netflix and on September 30, 2014, he released the vinyl album, Live At Andrew’s House, a recording of his 2011 Carnegie Hall performance.

Beemo | Orlando Health AMP’d Series

Beemo is an Americana quintet from Central Florida with a sound best described as a tall pint of acoustic rock with shots of Irish folk, punk and mountain music. The group consists of Dan (vocals), Sean (guitar), Matt (mandolin), JB (percussion) and Tony (bass). Their songwriting draws inspiration from classics like Bruce Springsteen, REM and Johnny Cash. However, Beemo's stage presence emulates contemporaries Nickel Creek and Avett Brothers. The warm and bright optimism in their songs and explosive stage presence belies a tremendous amount of real life struggles from the band’s past. Full of heart, Beemo is a living testament to the healing power of music. They pour their energy into every note and leave audiences with a powerful message of hope.

Holidays in Space 2017

For Holidays in Space 2017, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex welcomes visitors to experience the wonder of Fighting Gravity. Fighting Gravity is unique dance performance group that defies gravity using optical illusions and blacklight in their choreography. Fighting Gravity won 3rd place on NBC’s Americas Got Talent, and has since been touring the world. Do not miss this opportunity to see their exclusive performance at the visitor complex this holiday season. It’s like nowhere else on Earth! Shows will run from December 20 – 31 at 7:00pm daily, except for Christmas Day. These performances are included with daily admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The visitor complex is also decorated in the spirit of the holidays. Don’t forget to take a selfie with the giant NASA logo ornament at the entrance, or to pick up your favorite space-themed ornament or gift from the Space Shop!

Last Chance to See Playing with Light Exhibit

Our traveling exhibit Playing with Light is turning out the lights in just a few weeks, so don’t miss your chance to see it one last time before it’s gone! Playing with Light is an interactive exhibit that illuminates physics and optics though 22 immersive stations. These stations let you to play with lasers, mirrors, and more, putting the power of light in your hands. The exhibit will be open through Jan. 4, but stay tuned for our next traveling exhibit, Mindbender Mansion, opening January 27! Playing with Light will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through January 4 and is included with general admission or free to members.
