The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is making its grand return this fall at Walt Disney World. Scheduled for September 25 – November 8, the festival embraces the international flavors of the world and presents the tastiest food and drinks from places like Greece and Spain to new additions like Rio de Janeiro and Bangkok. Plus, the Eat to the Beat! Concert Series is back and features performers like Vanessa Carlton, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Richard Marx, Sister Hazel and Better than Ezra.
The line-up of fun at the 2009 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is as follows:
Marketplace & Promenade: More than 25 international marketplace kiosks are serving up delicious delicacies, along with recommended wines and beers, showcasing the flavors of the world.
Eat to the Beat! Concert Series: Music pairs perfectly with tasty cuisine during nightly Eat to the Beat! Concerts featuring a varied lineup of classic rock, soul, R&B;, oldies, jazz and funk hit–makers. Concerts are performed 3 times each evening at America Gardens Theatre along the World Showcase lagoon. Show Times are 5:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. daily.
Seminars & Demonstrations: From introductions to wine connoisseurship to demonstrations packed with cooking tips and sessions where you can sample regional beers and artisanal cheeses — a delicious journey of discovery begins at Epcot. Daily culinary demonstrations, wine seminars, a history of beer in America seminar and authentic taste seminars are planned.
Special Festival Experiences: Sensational food and wine pairings are artfully prepared and served as part of unforgettable meals at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Dining Experiences. Mexico Tequila Tastings, Food & Wine Pairings, Culinary Adventure Signature Dining and Party for the Senses are planned.
