The spirit of New Orleans is brought to life during Universal Orlando Mardi Gras!  A combination of electrifying concerts, a dazzling parade, delicious Cajun cuisine and plenty of authentic New Orleans musicians creates one of the biggest parties in Orlando, Florida.

On select nights February 4 through March 25, 2017, Universal Orlando guests will be treated to a family-friendly version of Mardi Gras.  You know it’s Mardi Gras the minute you enter the park, with festive decorations, traditional Zydeco Music, street performers and stilt walkers creating quite the scene.  Of course, the biggest crowd pleasers are Universal Orlando Mardi Gras Concerts.  This year’s line-up features a variety of music with everything from rock to R&B, to country to pop sensations taking the stage.

Before the concerts, be sure to take in the Mardi Gras Parade.  Winding its way through the streets of Universal Studios, the parade celebrates cultures from around the world  A lot of work, imagination, wood, glitter and paint went into making each float, all of which will take you around the globe to exotic locales.  The celebration continues at the French Quarter Courtyard, which is the central location of the Mardi Gras festivities.  Located near the Mummy and Twister attractions at Universal Studios, the French Quarter is where you’ll find food, spirits and music straight out of the Big Easy.

If you have little ones you know won’t make it to midnight, visit Celebration Town Center. Technically, an official New Year’s Eve party isn’t planned. However, there are still a lot of festive things to do for families. “Now Snowing” is Central Florida’s premier snowing event, featuring a snowfall program, ice rink, strolling characters, photos with Santa, horse drawn carriane rides, and more. There is a small fee to skate, but all of the other experiences are free!

Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo
Ring in the New Year family-style with a “Noon Year’s Eve” daytime Celebration at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo. Join in the festivities with live entertainment, games and activities, character appearances and more. Watch a giant countdown clock and welcome the New Year with noisemakers, hats and a juice toast. Activities are included with paid Zoo admission or Zoo membership. Held from 10:30am-1:00pm.

Dave & Buster’s
Families can eat, play and party on New Year’s Eve at Dave & Buster’s. Family packages are available starting at $30. All packages include an appetizer buffet, soft drinks & play in the Million Dollar Midway.

DJ M-Squared is returning for a third New Year’s Eve at CityWalk, and will bring is genre-fusing mixes with him. Tickets start at $139.99.

Wall Street Plaza
This annual December 31st Block Party is downtown Orlando’s largest New Year’s Eve event. Rock in the New Year with live music and an outdoor lighted dance floor. Plus, DJ Draven is returning to keep the party going all night long. The Wall Street Plaza party kicks off at 8pm. Ticket are $30.

Blue Martini NYE 2017 Celebration: A Casino Royale Gala
Book a New Year’s Eve special table for your own party then dance the night away with live entertainment. An open bar (beer and wine only) will be available from 8-10pm. In addition, there will be a live band at 8pm, balloon drop at midnight at live DJ from 1-2am. Tickets start at $70, and reservations are required.

Church Street New Year’s Eve Block Party
Orlando’s biggest street party is one Church Street New Year’s Eve. Watch the world-famous “Orange Drop” 60-feet in the sky and spectacular fireworks, as well as DJs spinning tunes, a video wall, and a live simulcast of Times Square. The party starts at 8pm. Minimum age for entrance is 21.

New Year’s Eve Celebration starring Kristin Chenoweth
Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts will be have Kristin Chenoweth, along with special guest Cheyenne Jackson, host an elegant New Year’s Eve Celebration. Doors open at 8pm, with the show starting at 10pm. An after party will be held until 2:00am in the lobbies of the art center. Five Star New Year’s Eve

Party all night at this Brazilian dance party, featuring world-class DJs and fireworks. General admission offers a full-service open bar with beverages, beer, vodka, whiskey and Prosecco. Guests are asked to dress in white and gold, in keeping with the Brazilian theme. Bonus: Child card will be provided at the event. Ticket packages start at $290.

Howl at the Moon
The dueling piano bar on International Drive is offering a gourmet buffet, champagne toast and party favors on New Year’s Eve starting at $75 per person. For only $25, though, your’e guaranteed entry, a champagne toast at midnight and party favors. Other ticket options are available. Guest must be 21 and over for entry.

Swing in the New Year at Atlantic Dance Hall with a live big band, fun and high spirits. Food and beverage is not included, but is available for an extra fee.

Sesame Street Safari of Fun Kids’ Weekend
May 6-7, 13-14

This event was designed with kids in mind. Yhe Sesame Street® Safari of Fun events feature animal encounters, parades, dance parties and even a few special guests. The first weekend will feature the cookie connoisseur himself, Cookie Monster and the second weekend will include a scavenger hunt for Ernie’s Rubber Duckies throughout the Safari of Fun play area. In addition, character parades will happen at the top of every hour.

Jack Hanna Weekend

Join “Jungle Jack” Hanna for two days of wild animal shows, autograph signings and special meet-and-greets when he visits Busch Gardens. The internationally-known animal expert will share animal facts and his travel tales during animal shows at the Stanleyville Theater.

Busch Gardens Tampa events include the signature Summer Nights festival. It returns with more heat, featuring an end-of-night show packed with live musicians, singers, dancers and artists from around the world. Electric Ocean will debut next summer at SeaWorld Orlando as a brand new, end-of-day spectacle event. As the sun goes down, the lights and energy go up, offering guests a different kind of fun after dark. The ocean comes to life with bioluminescent lighting, music and pathway entertainment, immersing guests in a glowing sea of wonder.

On December 31, Universal Orlando Resort guests can ring in 2017 at Universal CityWalk’s New Year’s Eve celebration. Partygoers will enjoy the music mixing talents of several DJs, dine on gourmet cuisine like filet mignon and jumbo shrimp and crab claws, and dance the night away at some of Orlando’s best nightclubs.

In addition to a high-energy live concert and dance party, guests can enjoy access to six of CityWalk’s hottest clubs, including Rising Star, the groove and Red Coconut Club as well as six distinct party zones. Guests can also raise their glass to 2017 with a midnight champagne toast, celebratory confetti burst and pyrotechnic display. Tickets start at $109.99 plus tax per person. Purchase Busch Gardens tickets to countdown to 2017 with special musical entertainment, holiday themed shows and a special fireworks finale. The finale is visible from all around the park with the prime viewing location being Gwazi Park.

LEGOLAND Florida

The whole family can enjoy a family-friendly party with Kids’ New Year’s Eve on December 31. Kids get to rock out in Miniland USA with a live DJ Dance Party. After the live-action show and fireworks, everything will be in place for the enormous Brick Drop at just the right time for kids, midnight Kid Standard Time (KST) – otherwise known as 7pm.

Pirate’s Dinner Adventure New Year’s Eve Show

Busch Gardens transforms into a winter wonderland during Christmas Town in Tampa. The spirit of Christmas and safari-themed attractions combine to create a nighttime event full of seasonal sights, sounds and delicious holiday treats. Christmas Town is scheduled for select nights November 25 through December 31, 2016.

Even Busch Gardens’ most familiar fans will barely recognize the portions of the park that convert to Christmas Town Tampa through a million twinkling Christmas lights that will blanket every inch of the park. At Holiday Hills you can step back in time and experience a classic Christmas. Over at Enchanted Flamingo Valley Thousands of twinkling pink lights create a festive flock. Christmas Town Terrace journeys into Jungala and features a nature-inspired Christmas, including a new 50-foot tree light show. At Jungle Jubilee you can view larger-than-life nutcrackers and exotic decorations. Add some romance to your visit with at Mistletoe Memories, where romantic flowers fill the trees overhead and you can sneak a holiday kiss.  Returning for 2016 is the Three Kings Crossing, where guests can discover the famed journey to Bethlehem, and Celestial Crossing, featuring spectacular lantern stars, Mrs. Claus’ Family Feast and the Christmas Celebration Show.

New for this year is Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland. The location in Celestial Crossing encourages guests to play holiday games and indulge in Yuletide treats while scenes of the beloved story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer come to life. You can even take your photo with Rudolph!

Three of Busch Gardens’ best coasters are open during Christmas Town in Tampa. You can ride Cheetah Hunt, Gwazi and Sheikra and see the holiday lights in a whole new way as you loop, drop and twist on these thrilling rides.

Christmas Town in Tampa is now included in the price of Busch Gardens tickets. Guests can experience all the safari-themed park has to offer during the day, then extend their visit until 8 or 9pm to add festive Christmas Town activities to their visit.  All of the Christmas Town experiences are available during the day, too. Disney World July 4Disney World 4th of July

Magic Kingdom – “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” is presented on July 3 and July 4 at 9pm. The fireworks are set to traditional American songs, with the finale set to the national anthem.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios – A “Rockin’ 4th of July Celebration” is presented at Disney’s Hollywood Studios where musical group Mulch, Sweat and Shears take guests on a journey through America, performing each region’s contribution to rock ‘n roll. The show starts at 6:00pm and includes fireworks, lighting and special effects. A Rock ‘n Glow Dance Party will also take place in front of the Chinese Grauman’s Theater from 7:30pm-10:30pm and special showings of Fantasmic! are schedule for 9:00pm and 11:00pm.

Epcot – Epcot hosts a special performance of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at 10:00pm. The theme will be “The Heartbeat of Freedom” and will feature an overture of traditional American themes displayed through pyrotechnics and laser lights.

SeaWorld Orlando has an all-new 4th of July experience planned for 2016. On July 2 and 3, guests can enjoy performances from Country music icon Lee Greenwood at Bayside Stadium. Concerts begin at 6pm and are included with park admission. The show is followed by Shamu’s Celebration: Light up the night at 9pm.

This 4th of July, families and friends can enjoy one of Orlando’s most magnificent fireworks displays at SeaWorld Orlando. The night sky will light up as bursts of bright colors fill the air during this spectacular, patriotic-inspired show featuring the Florida National Guard’s 13th Army Band. Fireworks are included with park admission and can best be viewed from Bayside Stadium, show begins at 10pm

In addition, on July 1, SeaWorld Orlando will be opening the park gates one hour early for U.S. active duty military, veterans and up to five guests. This extra time will guarantee first-ride access to the all-new Mako coaster.

Universal Orlando presents Universal Cinematic Spectacular on July 4th, scheduled for 9:00pm. The show features movie highlights and music from some of Universal’s most popular films, and will have a special patriotic finale on Independence Day. The show is included with Universal Studio tickets.
