Blue Man Group at Universal Orlando Resort is set for a grand re-opening tomorrow, February 24. The show is debuting newly enhanced segments, a new show environment, new music, new technology and new experiences. Signature Blue Man Group moments will remain, but new segments include the Blue Men interacting with “GiPads” (think gigantic iPads) and a new finale with an original Blue Man Group music score.
The heart of the show at Universal CityWalk is, of course, the Blue Men. Their inquisitive look at the world around them adds to the hilarity and interactive nature of the show. As Blue Man Group has evolved so has the world around them, creating new material for them to include in their Orlando show. One of the most engaging elements of the show is the improvisational and vaudeville-style comedy that keeps segments fresh and audiences on their toes. Some of the audience’s favorite Blue Man Group segments, like “Paint Drumming” and “Gum Balls and Marshmallows” will continue to be a part of the show. And yes, if you’re sitting in the first few rows you’ll still need to wear a poncho. You’ve been warned. (You do receive a free poncho if you’re sitting in this section, so no need to bring your own.)
