Busch Gardens Tampa Events Set for 2019 Season

Busch Gardens has a full line-up of festivals planned for 2019. The festival season kicks off with the Three Kings Celebration followed by the Real Music, Real Masters Concert Series. Plus, the fan-favorite, Sesame Street Safari of Fun Kids’ Weekends, returns for the season. Curious about what other events Busch Gardens Tampa has planned? Three Kings Celebration

January 5th and 6th
Don’t let the Christmas season end with the all-new Three Kings Celebration. This immersive event brings the town of Bethlehem to life with authentic Latin traditions, entertainment honoring the three wise men, cultural celebrations, and a myriad of light displays that are sure to mesmerize.

Real Music, Real Masters Concert Series

January 7th – March 16th
Busch Gardens’ longest-running concert series returns Mondays through Fridays from January 7 to March 16, 2019 with live music that spans six decades, from the 1950s to today. Musical fare includes swing, blues, pop, jazz and rock ‘n roll. The 2019 Real Music, Real Masters concert series lineup will be announced soon.

Food & Wine Festival

Weekends, March 16th – April 28th
During the spring, Busch Gardens’ Food & Wine Festival returns with wild flavors and concerts for every taste. The park tempts guests with a variety of cuisine, wine, craft beer and live entertainment on Saturdays and Sundays from March 16 through April 28, 2019. Throughout the festival, some of the top names in entertainment will take the stage on Gwazi Field. Food and beverage is not included, but is available for an extra fee. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcoholic beverages during this Busch Gardens event.

Sesame Street Safari of Fun Kids’ Weekend

Weekends, May 4th – 19th
This event was designed with kids in mind. The Sesame Street® Safari of Fun events feature animal encounters, parades, dance parties and even a few special guests you might recognize. The first weekend will feature the cookie connoisseur himself, Cookie Monster and the second weekend will include a scavenger hunt for Ernie’s Rubber Duckies throughout the Safari of Fun play area. In addition, character parades will happen at the top of every hour. Don’t forget to bring your camera and capture the look on your child’s face as they meet their favorite Sesame Street® all weekend long!

Independence Day Fireworks

July 4th
Celebrate the red, white, and blue with a fireworks display unlike any other at Busch Gardens. On top of the epic fireworks show, visitors are treated to live entertainment, Florida’s top thrill rides, and DJ party zones.

Summer Nights

May 31st – August 10th
Busch Gardens Tampa events include the signature Summer Nights festival offering extended park hours. It returns with more heat, featuring an end-of-night show packed with live musicians, singers, dancers and artists from around the world. Plus, summer nights are a great time to cool off with the rush of Busch Gardens’ world-class thrill rides.

Bier Fest

2019 Dates TBA
New to the lineup of Busch Gardens Tampa events, Bier Fest brings the traditions of Oktoberfest to life. Local breweries, German cuisine, and music all combine at this Bavarian inspired celebration. Plus, try different craft beers from around the globe and expand your horizons!

Howl-O-Scream

Fall 2019
Prepare to be scared at Busch Gardens’ annual Halloween event, Howl-O-Scream. Guests are treated (or tricked!) to elaborate haunted houses, immersive scare zones scattered throughout the park, and darkly entertaining live shows. This Halloween event also requires a separate ticket to enter.

Sesame Street Safari of Fun “Halloween” Kids’ Weekends

Weekends, October 6th – 28th
Sesame Street® Safari of Fun is hosting a Halloween party on the last two weekends of October! Enjoy festive arts and crafts, trick-or-treat candy stations and a hay bale maze. Remember to wear your best Halloween costume! The event boasts different Halloween themes each weekend just for kids. Guests above the age of 13 may not wear masks into the park, but are welcome to wear costumes.

Christmas Town

Winter 2019
Unwrap a beautiful family tradition at Christmas Town, one of the premiere Busch Gardens Tampa events perfect for celebrating the holiday season. Busch Gardens transforms into a holiday wonderland of Christmastime entertainment and attractions, holiday shopping, treats and more than a million twinkling lights.

New Year’s Eve Celebration

December 31st
Ring in the New Year with your friends and family at Busch Gardens Tampa. Featuring a fireworks show you have to see to believe and rockin’ music, there’s no better way to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

    1. Busch Gardens is open on Christmas Day. Christmas Town is featured during this time and all events are the same as a regular day at the park.
