Busch Gardens has a full line-up of festivals planned for 2018. The festival season kicks off with the Three Kings Celebration followed by the Real Music Concert Series. Three Kings Celebration
January 1 – 6
Don’t let the Christmas season end with the all-new Three Kings Celebration. This immersive event brings the town of Bethlehem to life with authentic Latin traditions, entertainment honoring the three wise men, cultural celebrations, and a myriad of light displays that are sure to mesmerize.
Real Music Concert Series
January 8 – March 3
Busch Gardens’ longest-running concert series returns Mondays through Fridays from January 8 to March 3 with live music that spans six decades, from the 1950s to today. Musical fare includes swing, blues, pop, jazz and rock ‘n roll. The lineup includes:
- January 8 – 13: Cirque Vertigo featuring the Wallenda Duo
- January 15 – 20: Michael Cavanaugh
- January 22 – 27: The Diamonds
- January 29 – February 3: Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone
- February 5 – 10: Pam Tillis
- February 12 – 17: ARRIVAL from Sweden: The Music of ABBA
- February 19 – 24: Magic Moments
- February 26 – March 3: Rhythm in the Night
Food & Wine Festival
Weekends, March 3 – April 29
During the spring, Busch Gardens’ Food & Wine Festival returns with wild flavors and concerts for every taste. The park tempts guests with a variety of cuisine, wine, craft beer and live entertainment on Saturdays and Sundays from March 3 through April 29. Throughout the festival, 18 of the top names in entertainment will take the stage on Gwazi Field. Food and beverage is not included, but is available for an extra fee. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcoholic beverages during this Busch Gardens event.
Sesame Street Safari of Fun Kids’ Weekend
Weekends, May 5 – 20
This event was designed with kids in mind. The Sesame Street® Safari of Fun events feature animal encounters, parades, dance parties and even a few special guests you might recognize. The first weekend will feature the cookie connoisseur himself, Cookie Monster and the second weekend will include a scavenger hunt for Ernie’s Rubber Duckies throughout the Safari of Fun play area. In addition, character parades will happen at the top of every hour. Don’t forget to bring your camera and capture the look on your child’s face as they meet their favorite Sesame Street® all weekend long!
Jack Hanna Weekend
Throughout Memorial Day Weekend, Busch Gardens visitors can meet “Jungle Jack” Hanna during special meet-and-greet opportunities. Plus, this wild festival features animal shows, autograph signings, and more at the Stanleyville Theater. Animal lovers flock to Busch Gardens each year for this one-of-a-kind event.
June 15 – August 5
Busch Gardens Tampa events include the signature Summer Nights festival. It returns with more heat, featuring an end-of-night show packed with live musicians, singers, dancers and artists from around the world. Plus, summer nights are a great time to cool off with the rush of Busch Gardens’ world-class thrill rides.
Weekends, August 25 – September 16
New to the lineup of Busch Gardens Tampa events, Bier Fest brings the traditions of Oktoberfest to life. Local breweries, German cuisine, and music all combine at this Bavarian inspired celebration. Plus, try different craft beers from around the globe and expand your horizons!
September 21 – October 28
Prepare to be scared at Busch Gardens’ annual Halloween event, Howl-O-Scream. Guests are treated to elaborate haunted houses, immersive scare zones scattered throughout the park, and darkly entertaining live shows. This Halloween event requires a separate ticket to enter.
Sesame Street Safari of Fun “Halloween” Kids’ Weekends
Weekends, October 6 – 28
Sesame Street® Safari of Fun is hosting a Halloween party on the last two weekends of October! Enjoy festive arts and crafts, trick-or-treat candy stations and a hay bale maze. Remember to wear your best Halloween costume! The event boasts different Halloween themes each weekend just for kids. Guests above the age of 13 may not wear masks into the park, but are welcome to wear costumes.
November 19 – December 31
Unwrap a beautiful family tradition at Christmas Town, one of the premiere Busch Gardens Tampa events perfect for celebrating the holiday season. Busch Gardens transforms into a holiday wonderland of Christmastime entertainment and attractions, holiday shopping, treats and more than a million twinkling lights.
New Year’s Eve Celebration
Ring in the New Year with your friends and family at Busch Gardens Tampa. Featuring a fireworks show you have to see to believe and rockin’ music, there’s no better way to celebrate New Year’s Eve.
