Disney’s Hollywood Studios become aglow in light during the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights. Presented at the Disney Park every holiday season since 1995, this stunning light show adds an extra dose of festive fun to any Disney World Christmas vacation.

Disney Osborne Lights Media
The show, which will be featured November 7, 2014, through January 4, 2015, is presented approximately every 10 minutes. Lights dance to holiday music, “snow” falls from the sky and the entire Streets of America portion of the park becomes alive with the holiday spirit. Grab a cup of cocoa and stroll the streets as you gaze at over 4 million twinkling lights, complete with heralded angels flying overhead.

Interestingly enough, this fantastic holiday display got its start in Arkansas. Jennings Osborne began creating amazing holiday light displays with his family , and it soon grew o millions of lights and elaborate displays to which people from all over the state came to see. Displeased with the traffic it was causing, the local residents intervened legally and just when it looked as if the display would come to an end, Disney World stepped up to share this holiday magic with people from across the country. Still to this day, around 80% of the lights on display originate from the original Osborne displays.

Make the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights a part of your Disney World holiday traditions.
