Sea World Orlando is presenting a new Christmas show this holiday season named “O Wondrous Night – The Greatest Story Never Told.”  The show is set to debut November 25, 2011, as part of SeaWorld’s Christmas Spectacular.

The 30-minute show will feature puppetry and dance, backed by traditional holiday music.  The “Never Told” aspect of the show comes from the perspective in which it is told, as the original Christmas story is told through the eyes of the animals present.  Real animals will take the stage in a magical moment of the show.  Look for sheep, doves, an alpaca, an ox and three camels.

Over 35-songs are included in the show, weaving in a variety of styles, from somber to joyous.

The show performs twice nightly on during SeaWorld Christmas Spectacular dates.  It is located at the Nautilus Theater.

All of the Christmas Spectacular events are included with the purchase of discount SeaWorld tickets.

SeaWorld Orlando recently announced the three new attractions they will introduce over the course of the next two years.  Billed as “The Wave of the Future,” this expansion is the largest in SeaWorld history.

TurtleTrek is one of the new Orlando attractions debuting at SeaWorld.  Scheduled to open in the Spring of 2012, TurtleTrek combines up-close animal encounters with state-of-the-art entertainment.  Visitors will visit two habitats, one filled with hundreds of freshwater fish and manatees, and the other home to more than 1,500 saltwater fish and more than a dozen sea turtles.  From there, guests enter a domed theater where they will encounter an experience never before seen at any theme park.  The unique, 360-degree theater creates an immersive atmosphere as a hyper-realistic 3D movie is shown all around and above SeaWorld theme park visitors.  The film follows a sea turtle and showcases a turtle’s view of the ocean’s wonders.

Antarctica – Empire of the Penguin will open in 2013.  The area will feature Wild Arctic, a simulated jet copter ride taking guests to the frozen north, where they will dive into a world of polar bears, beluga whales and walruses.  Through this experience, visitors will experience life on ice through the eyes of a penguin, complete with state-of-the-art interactive ride technologies.
