 The Days Inn Maingate East Orlando offers great rates, a convenient location and a full hot breakfast (seasonal) for guests vacationing in Orlando Florida. This tourist class hotel has 400 rooms, shuttles for all the attractions like Disney & Universal, and a new gift shop coming soon offering souvenirs & sundry items. The Safari cafeteria, where the breakfast buffet is served, is very large. The breakfast buffet offers a full hot breakfast from 7am-11am, with a multitude of items, and is usually $3.99 for adults and kids eat free. Note: The Safari Cafeteria is currently closed, as of November 13, 2009. The Orlando Days Inn Maingate buildings are organized around a large, landscaped courtyard boasting a large playground with sand, BBQ area, extra large pool, which is heated in the winter, and also has plenty of patio seating for guests. The accommodations at the property are standard double rooms, which comes with two double beds equipped with beauty rest mattresses. The floral décor is accented by moderately used case goods, and the room includes a standard size TV with a Nintendo gaming system. The rooms are very clean and although the bathrooms were small, they have implemented a curved shower rod to add extra space. New renovations are coming soon, with plans to install new carpet, bedding, and drapes in the works. The outside of the buildings are all getting touched up too, with a Terra Cotta style design. Microwaves & fridge’s can be rented, for $10 a day.  |

Does the Days Inn Maingate East provide shuttles to the theme parks?
The shuttle schedule is available to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld and the Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlet stores. Unfortunately the schedule changes monthly due to demand. There is always at least 1 trip per day to Universal and SeaWorld and the Factory Outlets and 3 departure times for Walt Disney World and 3 return trips to the hotel daily. All Walt Disney World shuttles drop off and pick up at Epcot which is Walt Disney’s central hub. Once at Epcot the guest may use the free shuttle or tram service at Disney to go to any park, water park or shopping area on Disney properties.

Yes. The Safari Restaurant is open for HOT BREAKFAST BUFFET only, 7AM to 3PM. Cost is $3.99 per adult + beverage and tax. Children 6 and under eat free with paying adult. It is an all-you-care-to-eat Hot Breakfast Buffet that includes an assortment of fresh and pre-prepared fruits and melons, assorted homemade breakfast cakes and breads, and assorted breakfast cereals and hot oatmeal. The hot entrée items include freshly prepared French toast and pancakes with warm maple syrup. They offer hard boiled eggs and freshly prepared scrambled eggs, home fries, hot fresh baked biscuits, grits, cheese sauce and freshly made sausage gravy. Sausage patties, chicken nuggets and bacon are made daily and always piping hot. There is also a host of condiments, jellies and jams for your pleasure. Beverages include 2% white milk, fruit juices, coffee, decaf coffee, hot and iced tea. Additional beverages may be purchased if desired.
