Customer service was excellent, but the hotel itself.. It wasn't the nicest. I would have expected more from a Disney hotel. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

our stay @ this resort was great however was not what we thought of being close to Sea World and for that we couldn't utilize any of the great things it offered upon arrival and paying $97 more on top of our cost for the stay because the trams only went to Disney Springs and Disney Theme Parks. So for the Cost of the whole stay and the cost of travels back and forth we would not be interested in future stays here.

"Orlando <3"

I used 'Reserve Orlando' for our trip. Those people were very accommodating as I had bumped up our free hotel to a nicer situation. We were so glad we did with WG.
I brought my son and my mother.
I was nervous not having a tower room that we would lack in cleanliness, comfort, and quietness. We didn't lack for anything at all. We chose not to have housekeeping for the week we stayed and they politely left out rooms alone and offered us replacement towels when we intercepted the cleaning cart in the morning and whatever else within reason we desired. We were off-site for all of our meals mostly but we did have delivered pizza one late night from their own offered account; you can find the Dominoes stand downstairs. Simple! Cheap!
We were in the large pool a few times and I advise you to shower immediately after as my son developed a leg rash when being in the pool too long. The bar at the pool is lovely treat and the French fries are a yummy snack.
When we return we will use this same vaca plan again. Windham Gardens is a great alternative and though not extremely posh, (depending on your situation) it's very clean and the people are wonderful. It was a for for us.
Note: upon returning from Animal Disney park late at night, you will have to take a left and walk to the bus. It usually is parked a few rows in, in front of the white tent. Difficult as the staff we talked with at WG do not know how to describe this. But not unresolvable.
You will enjoy your stay, don't be too picky and rigid, enjoy the quirks (there are very few), then you'll be amazed at all you get for your money.
Yes, you're spending a bunch in this whole experience, but the memories are worth it.

My husband & I came to Orlando as part of our honeymoon. We arrived at 3:30, check in was at 4. They told us our room wasn’t ready - fair enough. And to come back at 4..4:30. Not a good start, checkin is 4, not 4:30, it’s your responsibility to have my room ready. They have a $20 a day resort fee for their WIFI and the shuttles. The shuttle doesn’t go to universal so you’ll enjoy paying for an Uber. Their wifi is laughable, I think I had more luck picking up our home wifi in Australia. So that $20 a day is a bit of a LOL. Day 2.. restaurant does a la carte, let’s grab that - not wanting a buffet because we’re not yet storing for our winter hibernation. We asked and they said yes a la carte, got sat down and told to enjoy the buffet. We never saw the a la carte menu again. So I pick up a pancake - when in Rome you know - and I’m not even exaggerating here, It’s so dry I can crack it, I’ll upload a picture for your perusal. The bill came, and this is my favourite part - under suggested tips it begins at 18% but 22% is highlighted. I’m at this point offended. I looked around for 15 minutes trying to get attention to get some eggs before giving up but they’d like a 22% tip. Well Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, I’d like to go back in time and book with any other resort but yours but that’s as likely as your 22% tip. Also for anyone booking the cheaper rooms, be warned it’s a motel next to the actual hotel. I’d be furious if I’d inadvertently booked that as it’s definitely unclear they’ve got slums next to the hotel ready and waiting for the poor unsuspecting people that book it. The only positive thing about this hotel is their lovely checkin staff and the glee one feels in checking out.

Our family stayed at this hotel for two nights because we couldn’t get into our Disney hotel. We stayed in a tower room and they have just been renovated and beds are new and very comfortable. The room and hotel were very clean. The location is excellent as it is directly across the road from Disney Springs. Also a bonus is that you don’t have to cross with traffic because there is a bridge for walking across above the traffic. All of the staff was very friendly. I did not eat in the restaurant so I cannot comment on the food. Had a drink in their lounge/bar one night and it was very nice as well. We used Uber a lot and it was very cheap and efficient way of getting around, they were always at this hotel in less than 2 minutes! It was incredible. They also have shuttles to the theme parks. Lots of restaurants and shopping just a short Uber ride away. I would definitely stay here again and I am kind of fussy. Be careful though because I believe the garden rooms that are not in the tower are another story.

Only stayed one night before flying out the next day, booked through a last minute deal app. The room is ok, on the smallish side, nicely decorated but nothing remarkable. Small bathroom with a very low shower head which is a challenge. The location is great though, closest to Disney Springs of the hotels on the Blvd so it’s an easy walk over the bridge and once in Disney Springs you can take advantage of the Disney buses in addition to what the hotel offers. I️ don’t love the daily resort fee but unfortunately that seems to now be the norm for hotels in the area. But overall for the location it seemed to be a decent value.
