Customer service was excellent, but the hotel itself.. It wasn't the nicest. I would have expected more from a Disney hotel. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Tip: Great hotel staff! Rooms are tiny.

"Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs"

our stay @ this resort was great however was not what we thought of being close to Sea World and for that we couldn't utilize any of the great things it offered upon arrival and paying $97 more on top of our cost for the stay because the trams only went to Disney Springs and Disney Theme Parks. So for the Cost of the whole stay and the cost of travels back and forth we would not be interested in future stays here.

"Orlando <3"
June, 2016
I used 'Reserve Orlando' for our trip. Those people were very accommodating as I had bumped up our free hotel to a nicer situation. We were so glad we did with WG.
I brought my son and my mother.
I was nervous not having a tower room that we would lack in cleanliness, comfort, and quietness. We didn't lack for anything at all. We chose not to have housekeeping for the week we stayed and they politely left out rooms alone and offered us replacement towels when we intercepted the cleaning cart in the morning and whatever else within reason we desired. We were off-site for all of our meals mostly but we did have delivered pizza one late night from their own offered account; you can find the Dominoes stand downstairs. Simple! Cheap!
We were in the large pool a few times and I advise you to shower immediately after as my son developed a leg rash when being in the pool too long. The bar at the pool is lovely treat and the French fries are a yummy snack.
When we return we will use this same vaca plan again. Windham Gardens is a great alternative and though not extremely posh, (depending on your situation) it's very clean and the people are wonderful. It was a for for us.
Note: upon returning from Animal Disney park late at night, you will have to take a left and walk to the bus. It usually is parked a few rows in, in front of the white tent. Difficult as the staff we talked with at WG do not know how to describe this. But not unresolvable.
You will enjoy your stay, don't be too picky and rigid, enjoy the quirks (there are very few), then you'll be amazed at all you get for your money.
Yes, you're spending a bunch in this whole experience, but the memories are worth it.
Tip: Bring your own coffee pods and creamer for the rooms if you can.

The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is one of the better priced hotels in the area. The hotel is clean, the employees are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the location is great. The hotel is literally across the street from Disney Springs. My only complaint is the market in the lobby is very over priced.

The resort was wonderful. It was clean. Had a lot of wonderful amenities that we unfortunately did not have time to make use of. I am not a big football fan - but the BIG problem was trying to watch the Super Bowl on a TV that kept freezing up, blacking out, etc. BAD news to my brother - football fan from Atlanta.

"Well run property"

Let me start by getting out of the way that this is an older property. It was probably built right after Disney was opened. That being said they have done a good job of updating it. Here are the positives: Right next door to Disney Springs. There is a walking bridge over to Disney Springs that brings you in to the north end of the facility.Easy walk. Disney buses to all theme parks stop here. Hotel staff is exceptional. Great little coffee shop and snack bar in lobby. Also good Disney store in lobby. Although rooms are dated, they have been renovated really well. The bathroom in particular has been fixed up very nicely. Bed was great, as were the pillows. (a pet peeve of mine are hotel pillows that seem to have nothing inside them) Good size refrigerator in room, along with coffee maker and safe. Fantastic buffet breakfast at Lakeview restaurant inside the hotel on the mezzanine level. Wait staff in particular Nikura was great. It was somewhat pricey during Disney character breakfast on Thursday and Saturday, but still worth it. Really nice pool area with tennis courts (lighted) Now the negatives Self parking left something to be desired. Very tough to reach keypad. Lack of handicap parking closer to the buildings(one of the spots was occupied the entire time we were there by painters.) Needed to use your room key to enter floor number on elevator. A little bit tough when your are burdened down with bags and such. Small negative, but I am seeing this on more properties, ice machine on every other floor, so you needed to remember your room key to go get ice. Storage space in rooms was a little lacking as one of the drawer areas was taken up with the in room safe. Remote for TV did not work. (did not need it, but still....) One of the doors for the clothes closet automatically closes, but does contain the full length mirror...very inconvenient. Overall I would say that there are many properties available to stay at Orlando, but the convenience of having a property so close to Disney Springs and inside the Disney property far out weigh any other issues. Plus you can probably get some good prices, especially on the rooms that resemble a motel.

"Where is housekeeping?"

I was here for 3 nights with several colleagues, the rooms in the tower are satisfactory very small do not take a family here. The worse part was none of us 4 rooms could get housekeeping to clean our rooms before 4pm, we worked all day to come back to unclean rooms. This is not ok....bathrooms are tiny, windows are dirty, staff is not polite-fight for an elevator with them-since when doesn't the guest come first. Sorry I will not stay here again too many nicer hotels in Disney.

"Nice Lobby, Bad Rooms"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed February 19, 2017 NEW
Entering the Wyndham you feel like it is a very nice resort hotel. Beautiful lobby, friendly, attentive staff, etc. But once you open the door to your room, you realize this is a run-down old hotel with an updated and modernized lobby and public area. The beds were worn out saggy, pillows like lead that smelled musty, poor lighting, and a completely inadequate bathroom area. And oddly enough, the clock on the nightstand was unreadable in the dark. What's up with that? If you like being in the lobby / bar area, this is a good place. But if you want a comfortable room for sleeping, I'd go somewhere else.
