Customer service was excellent, but the hotel itself.. It wasn't the nicest. I would have expected more from a Disney hotel. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Tip: Great hotel staff! Rooms are tiny.

our stay @ this resort was great however was not what we thought of being close to Sea World and for that we couldn't utilize any of the great things it offered upon arrival and paying $97 more on top of our cost for the stay because the trams only went to Disney Springs and Disney Theme Parks. So for the Cost of the whole stay and the cost of travels back and forth we would not be interested in future stays here.

"Orlando <3"
June, 2016
I used 'Reserve Orlando' for our trip. Those people were very accommodating as I had bumped up our free hotel to a nicer situation. We were so glad we did with WG.
I brought my son and my mother.
I was nervous not having a tower room that we would lack in cleanliness, comfort, and quietness. We didn't lack for anything at all. We chose not to have housekeeping for the week we stayed and they politely left out rooms alone and offered us replacement towels when we intercepted the cleaning cart in the morning and whatever else within reason we desired. We were off-site for all of our meals mostly but we did have delivered pizza one late night from their own offered account; you can find the Dominoes stand downstairs. Simple! Cheap!
We were in the large pool a few times and I advise you to shower immediately after as my son developed a leg rash when being in the pool too long. The bar at the pool is lovely treat and the French fries are a yummy snack.
When we return we will use this same vaca plan again. Windham Gardens is a great alternative and though not extremely posh, (depending on your situation) it's very clean and the people are wonderful. It was a for for us.
Note: upon returning from Animal Disney park late at night, you will have to take a left and walk to the bus. It usually is parked a few rows in, in front of the white tent. Difficult as the staff we talked with at WG do not know how to describe this. But not unresolvable.
You will enjoy your stay, don't be too picky and rigid, enjoy the quirks (there are very few), then you'll be amazed at all you get for your money.
Yes, you're spending a bunch in this whole experience, but the memories are worth it.
Tip: Bring your own coffee pods and creamer for the rooms if you can.

We have stayed at the Wyndham numerous times and love the location to Disney Springs. On this stay, I accidentally left my $2000 wedding ring in the room upon checking out and didnt' realize till the afternoon. I went back to the hotel and spoke with security. They checked with the housekeeper and she said she didn't see it when she was cleaning. I know I left it on the dresser when rushing around to leave. Yes, I know it was a hasty mistake. A police report was filed. Praying that somehow it shows up or somebody fesses up.

"Nice one week stay"

I stayed one week with my boyfriend and it was a very pleasant stay. The rooms are kind of small, but that's to be expected from a property built decades ago. The beds are super comfortable and the staff are friendly. Melinda at the front desk was all smiles and extremely helpful, as was the bellman, Shelton. He was entertaining and was quick with a joke or smile. During the course of our stay, I managed to get myself lost looking for an elevator (it's a huge property for sure) but there was a member of the maintenance team, Hector, that took time out of his day to walk me in the direction I was supposed to go and was very polite and helpful. Shane and Bonnie at the pool bar were attentive and gave us recommendations, and even though the pool itself looked inviting, it was too cold to get in (random cold snap in Florida! Who would have thought!). I'm sure there were plenty of other people that we saw and interacted with, but those people were the ones that stuck out in my mind. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we'll be sure to return!

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was great for Disney attractions. Shuttle was convenient to Disney properties and Disney Springs. Only improvement I would make would be put microwaves in the rooms. We had leftovers from eating out and had to go downstairs to heat them up.

"A great experience"

We came to the Wyndham for a business conference. Although this it felt much like a family/Disney hotel the business end of the hotel was very nice and the blend of formal and casual was a nice change of pace. Both my wife and I enjoyed many of the employees who often went out of their way to help. Almost everyone we met was friendly. The dining aspects of the hotel left something to be desired. The service in the restaurant was slow and uneven. The food was what you would expect in a mid-priced hotel. Our room was nice and had a great view of Disney Springs and the parks. Their was a woman who had a Disney pin trading board out most mornings who was a wealth of knowledge about pin trading and who made an effort top know what we were collecting and even brought pins from how for my wife and I. She was lovely. The coffee shop staff was also super diligent in making sure we were well taken care of and they were very outgoing. Whomever is leading that team has built a wonderful culture. It would be nice to have that same level of service at the sit down restaurant. Overall a nice stay and we will be back when business takes us to the area around the Magic Kingdom

We decided to go to Orlando for a few days, as my sons college FGCU was playing at the Amway arena. Of course the hotel prices were high priced, because of the games, but we decided to stay. After we checked in and we were given a key to the room, they handed us a flashlight? We asked what is this for? They said a mandatory black outage. No electric from 11pm-3am I know late...but...still.....why wouldn't they have told us this before we booked the hotel? They said no elevators would work, we are on the 17th floor. Not very safe or accommodating. I was very disappointed. The other issue with the hotel , was there was no microwave in the room. Not worth the money we paid. It was an uncomfortable night for my family.
