Customer service was excellent, but the hotel itself.. It wasn't the nicest. I would have expected more from a Disney hotel. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Tip: Great hotel staff! Rooms are tiny.

our stay @ this resort was great however was not what we thought of being close to Sea World and for that we couldn't utilize any of the great things it offered upon arrival and paying $97 more on top of our cost for the stay because the trams only went to Disney Springs and Disney Theme Parks. So for the Cost of the whole stay and the cost of travels back and forth we would not be interested in future stays here.

"Orlando <3"
June, 2016
I used 'Reserve Orlando' for our trip. Those people were very accommodating as I had bumped up our free hotel to a nicer situation. We were so glad we did with WG.
I brought my son and my mother.
I was nervous not having a tower room that we would lack in cleanliness, comfort, and quietness. We didn't lack for anything at all. We chose not to have housekeeping for the week we stayed and they politely left out rooms alone and offered us replacement towels when we intercepted the cleaning cart in the morning and whatever else within reason we desired. We were off-site for all of our meals mostly but we did have delivered pizza one late night from their own offered account; you can find the Dominoes stand downstairs. Simple! Cheap!
We were in the large pool a few times and I advise you to shower immediately after as my son developed a leg rash when being in the pool too long. The bar at the pool is lovely treat and the French fries are a yummy snack.
When we return we will use this same vaca plan again. Windham Gardens is a great alternative and though not extremely posh, (depending on your situation) it's very clean and the people are wonderful. It was a for for us.
Note: upon returning from Animal Disney park late at night, you will have to take a left and walk to the bus. It usually is parked a few rows in, in front of the white tent. Difficult as the staff we talked with at WG do not know how to describe this. But not unresolvable.
You will enjoy your stay, don't be too picky and rigid, enjoy the quirks (there are very few), then you'll be amazed at all you get for your money.
Yes, you're spending a bunch in this whole experience, but the memories are worth it.
Tip: Bring your own coffee pods and creamer for the rooms if you can.

"Nice hotel near Disney Springs"

I visited this hotel in early June 2017 for my sister's bachelorette "party" as we attended DisneyWorld for a few days. The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort is a short 5 minute walk to Disney Springs - downtown Disney's outdoor mall filled with shops, restaurants and entertainment. That was pretty awesome for a group of ladies. Free shuttles come often to take you to all the parks. However, they do not have convenient (free) transportation to/from the airport. The hotel was well-priced for its offerings. The pool looked awesome but it rained every time we wanted to use it. The hotel offers a paid breakfast buffet that was pretty good and convenient. All the amenities you might expect from a Wyndham were there, and the hotel has been recently updated so everything was fresh, clean and modern. Unfortunately we ordered a bottle of champagne for my sister's celebration and were told it would be "on the house" only to receive a $50 charge on my credit card upon returning home. When I called to discuss it with the staff, the managers were unapologetic and did not reverse the fee. It left a bad taste in my mouth after a near-perfect trip.

"Great Place to Stay"

Can't wait to go back, a wonderful place to stay within the Disney Resort System on a budget. The room was clean, though hard to find at first. The bed comfortable and the night quiet making for a restful sleep. The pool was clean and fun to swim and play in as a family. My daughter especially liked jumping off the bench behind the waterfall. All staff we came in contact with were helpful, polite, and pleasant. The transportation to Disney Parks starts after the park is open, so we had to take a ride share to our Before Hours Breakfast, it was only $13. The cleaning staff worked throughout the day cleaning rooms and the grounds. You can rent a float at the pool, and the drinks at the pool side bar are reasonably priced. Great pool to spend a relaxing day or half day at.

"Old Resort from early 70's but nice features"

You are literally a few minutes away from Disney Springs. That's nice. Also, the valet and bellhop service are exceptional...really good. Stan helped us with our luggage and was one of the best I've ever met. Super smooth and cordial. The rooms are clean and housekeeping staff is friendly, but the rooms and hotel interior are dated. Paid extra for the view overlooking Disney Springs but our window panes were foggy. It's an old resort with good staff. Not much more to say about that. The convenience store in the lobby is as expensive as eating out. Guest Services didn't answer the phone 1 time out of the several times I called. I called for Room Service several times during our stay. Got through once and ordered pizza for the family. The pizza was really good. When you visit, lookup Stan. I believe he works days. He, along with the valet and housekeeping staff, are exceptional. I'm sure the resort will eventually get a remodel. Overall, it was a very good experience, but we probably won't stay again until it is remodeled. Thank you.
