Tip: You will need a car because even though there was local transportation near the hotel, the bus service is slow especially on the weekends

"Great Location, Clean Rooms, and Friendly Staff"
October, 2018
Nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, big screen tv's, and literally minutes away from the major destinations, gas stations, and even a Walmart in case you need travel supplies. Even has a kiddie pool and small play ground for them as well. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay, which is very important for my family. Will definitely use this hotel again for our next vacation.

"A grand surprise"
March, 2018
When we first checked in, we didnt understand why there were so few cars out front (we were then concerned for the quality of the room). It was to our surprise that this place was so big! We were in building #12, along our walk we passed not one, but two pools (shaped like mickey mouse's ears). There was also a heated toddler pool and volleyball. The rooms were standard and clean. The breakfast was extra but not by much. The cooks were very friendly the entire visit. The man who checked us in was very helpful as well. We noticed how they all worked together to clean tables, like they enjoyed their job. One guest gave us a toy scooter for our 1yr old son (they said they had no room to take it back home) and the morning breakfast clerk went out of his way to grab a spray bottle and towel to wipe it down clean for our son to enjoy. Very friendly place! They have a gift shop and fine art inside

"Good hotel for price"
March, 2018
Clean, friendly staff, big hotel with 3 pools, good amount space in room.
All I would recommend is maybe milder cleaning detergents because they were very strong smelling. And I don't think you can do much about the light by the sink...that was annoying at night. I wish there was an option to turn it off.

"Summer trip 2016"
July, 2016
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We were going into Universal for a few days and needed a close hotel. The hotel does provide a shuttle, but only once in the morning and once in the evening. Both times are after the park opens and before it closes. There was a $15 per person fee going to Universal but free going to the Magic Kingdom. We used Uber both days so that we could come and go as we pleased.

"Muggy"

The hotel looks run down from the outside. Rooms are surprisingly clean. SUPER muggy and humid in the rooms. Beds feel damp from all the humidity. You pay for what you get. Rooms are not what they look like in pictures. Would not stay here again.

The room heater does not work, it was 40 degrees outside. No microwave, no house keeping, and a liar management. Be smart and go to another place. Is a lot of good resorts on the area for the same price.

Front desk gave keys to the room that did not work. Called front desk to get new keys and front desk clerk made me bring all my stuff with my 6 year old back to the lobby because she was too lazy to bring us new keys. Very rude woman!

"Another Great Hotel on the 192"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed December 12, 2018 NEW
We have just returned from spending Thanksgiving at Disney and staying at The Red Lion Inn on the 192 was fab. The location has to be one of the closest NON Disney hotels to Walt Disney World as it is only a couple of minutes away from World Drive which takes you into the parks. We arrived fairly late to a very busy sold out hotel and was delighted to be given a free upgrade as the original room I booked had been taken, so arriving late was a good thing this time. The room was on the third floor of block 10 facing the Volleyball Court at the front of the hotel, you can just see Highway 192 but can hardly hear any traffic. As per usual the rooms at the majority of hotels in Kissimmee are very similar so walking into a fairly new renovated room was nice as the Red Lion Group had taken this hotel over. We had 2 queen size beds, Bathroom with tub and shower, vanity area, tub chair and table, fridge freezer, safe, TV, alarm clock and a Keurig Coffee Machine in the room and felt very comfortable when we arrived back after a tiring day at the parks. The only problems that we had was that our room was not cleaned a few days which was a little annoying and also replenishing of the Coffee Pods was a little low eventually I purchased my own from the local Walmart but apart from that I would recommend staying here.
