Big thanks to Matt at the Elite Check-in Desk. He warned our family about a large comic-con convention at the World Center Marriott. He suggested that it might be a little loud and crazy with the 1,600 plus convention goers. He was able to get is a room at the Gaylord right down the street. He also arrange transportation for our short drive. Thanks again Matt, for the great customer service. This is why we always choose the Marriott brand of hotels!

"Ok conference"

We are here for my husbands conference. Check in was fine. Room service is good and reasonably priced- the pantry type take out place is convenient and not horribly priced. Hallways and grounds are well maintained. It is COLD! Outside is 40-50’s and the conference rooms don’t seem to be heated. The room is so so. The bed is very firm and in place of a mattress pad there is a fuzzy blanket. It bunches and wrinkles during the night. If the rooms adjacent to ours flush the toilet ours let’s out a high pitch squeal. I can hear all their bathroom goings on through the vent VERY loud. The tub- yuck!!! The bottom has a grip coating but I think it must be hard to clean. I’m stepping on towels in there. Housekeeping moves my things- that I keep neatly to the side of the vanity, when they clean- not cool. They throw out any soap etc that we have used- once!- what a waste. Yesterday threw away the conditioner but did not replace it. The balcony could be nice but a light comes on at dusk. I can’t seem to turn it off. I don’t feel like sitting in a spotlight. All the staff I met were polite. The grounds are gorgeous and the room not so much.

"Very nice stay"

We were here for a conference and had a great experience. The room was nice but had some problems with the air conditioner. The staff were great and were very prompt in addressing our concerns. We finally were moved to a different room. The comfort of the bed was adequate. It was quiet. We had a room overlooking the pool was which was nice. The hotel is surrounded by highway so you need to get a taxi or Uber to leave the property. They do have a shuttle to the Disney resorts. The amenities are very nice so there are options if you want to stay on the property.

"No. No. No. Trapped in conference hell."

I was going to hold my tongue about this place and give them the benefit of the doubt. Their crack front desk staff has wrecked that as of this morning, our last day here. I'll stick to the facts. On check in we were put in a room in a tower above some sort of hotel infrastructure (HVAC? who knows), forcing us to pack up and move at 11 pm that night due to noise outside our window that would put the tarmac of a major airport to shame. They did move us to a quieter room, with only the noise of traffic outside. Good luck using the balcony in peace with that truck stop level of noise. At least we could sleep. We thought there was a bright spot when we were given a late check out so that my husband could attend his conference meetings (part of being a conference destination, Marriott), but then weren't advised that we needed new keys issued. So, on our last day my key didn't work, and I had to walk the 1/4 mile down to the front desk where the clerk "Nerys" would not give me a key notwithstanding my presentation of my ID because my name wasn't the one on the reservation (husband has same last name -- what was the problem here?). So I have to call and pull my husband out of the meeting so he could come to the desk and get the keys re-issued. Clearly there was a process problem here. In the fitness center, none of the media screens on the equipment are functional. In addition, their "running track" is nothing more than a chopped up series of paths (some paved, some not) going through or around various parking lots on which at times you will be competing with golf carts. Beep beep! How relaxing. Can't imagine anyone would use this "track" at night due to safety issues. The most enjoyable walking you will be doing at this place is from your room down to the lobby. The ladies restroom next to the main restaurant had an out of order stall and water dripping down the wall with towels on the floor the entire time of our stay. I could say more, but I'll end this with the obvious conclusion that we won't be back.

Check in was easy, room was ready when we arrived at 3p.m. Had a room overlooking the pool that had a nightly laser show at 9p.m. 2 beds very comfortable, very clean. Bathroom had 2 sinks that were separate from the shower which was very convenient. Plenty of towels. Pool area was spectacular. Shuttle to Disney (you have to make a reservation the night before) are convenient in the morning but be prepared to make stops at all the parks. Keep this in mind when you make your fast passes. Shuttles coming are less frequent. We made use of the Pantry restaurant - good food. Fritz ,one of the cooks, was great. The Christmas decorations were plentiful & beautiful. Overall great experience.
