Myself, husband, and 2 boys (5 yrs & 8 yrs) stayed at the LEGOLAND hotel for 2 nights. Upon arriving at the hotel it is very impressive looking with a smoke breathing dragon wrapped around the front. We booked an “adventure room”, which was cutely decorated LEGO Egyptian style and very clean. There was a little LEGO safe with a lock in the corner of the room and my boys really enjoyed figuring out the riddles to open it. Inside were juice boxes and a little LEGO pack (not a mini figure). When we returned to our room after being at the park all day house keeping had straightened our room nicely, replenished all the towels, and left Ninjago mini figures on the boys’ beds they were so stoked thank you). I have to say everyone at the hotel was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My only criticisms would be the ice, elevators, pool, and dining options. We were on the fifth floor, and the closest ice maker was on the second floor. This directly relates to the elevators now because while the elevators were cool with the disco balls and music playing (we danced every time) we had to wait a lot. We often took the stairs instead of waiting. The pool is also very small and the grounds are kinda worn. We didn’t really need much pool time however because my boys were so exhausted from being at the park all day. Finally the dining options in the hotel are limited. There is the Bricks restaurant which has the breakfast buffet, which is free and was good) then a dinner buffet and then a smaller “lounge” style restaurant. The lounge restaurant overlooks the indoor play area as well as the kids “entertainment” area which was fine to sit, have a beer and watch the kids freak out. Our bartender Ed was awesome. Super friendly, great service and he had some great mini figures to trade. As expected it’s pricey. I had a Bailey’s and coffee and it cost $13. Overall we had a good experience at the LEGO land hotel. It was worth being steps away from the park and the people working there were all great from staff at the front desk, to house keeping, to restaurant staff. Thank you all.

"Everything is awesome"

As many can see, we have been to numerous hotels and resorts. Legoland Hotel has been by far the best. Everything is awesome rather you're a kid or an adult. Check in was a breeze and simple. My boys were blown away by our Pirate Suite. Huge suite with plenty to occupy the boys. Now onto the important part of the hotel, the food. Highly recommend both restaurants ( Bricks and Skyline Lounge ). Bricks is the buffet, which is well worth it. Not even close to McDonald's food as some people mentioned. Skyline Lougne is a change of pace from the buffet. Pizza and calamari was excellent. We try calamari everywhere, this blows Red Lobsters away. Nightly entertainment for the kids, was great. Enough to keep kids occupied. If not pool is open until 9. We ended up with Smores every night we were there. Fire pit is 7-9. Our room had a treasure chest in it. Each day my kids had to guess the code. Inside was a cool treat. Their own Legos to take home. It was Lego City, Ninjago, and Easy builds. That pumped my kids up and looked forward to it Each day. A helpful tip, bring your own mini figures. Each staff members may have mini figs to kids loved it. They have to be a complete mini fig, with hair or a hat. As for the park, reminded me a lot of Sesame Place, but with better rides. We rode everything, some more then once. Best ride was the Great Lego Race. So worth the wait. Wasn't much wait times for the ride. Download the Legoland app. Food in the park, was typical amusement park food, some exceptions. Granny Apple Fries were awesome, worth the buy. Then you have to purchase your Legoland cup. For the price, a no brainer. Free refills throughout your day of purchase. $5.99 for unlimited any other day. This trip was everything we expected and more. As my kids would say, this was an epic vacation. Plus we scored free tickets to return. I highly recommend Legoland for any age, not just for kids. Anyone who loves Legos, will enjoy this.

The hotel was everything I expected and more. My 5 year old loved it. The hotel is completely focused on kids, which was outstanding. The dinner buffet was expensive and food wasn't that good but breakfast buffet was free and outstanding. Housekeeping was great and left a lego toy every day for my little man. The pool was small but it was never crowded.

"Everything Was Awesome!"

Just returned from 7 days/6 nights at the hotel. I was with my son, dil and 5 year old grandson. We all had a blast. We arrived, our luggage was placed on a cart and actually arrived at our room as we did. We had the Pirate Room which was wonderful, my grandson loved his hidden treasure. He actually received two Lego building sets, guess they counted me as a child. I felt like one. We tried the dinner buffet first night while food was good it wasn't really hot. We think due to the Citizens entertaining the children prior to restaurant opening. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Paul, the one with an accent, was entertaining as well as a great omelet maker, he made my morning! The other Chef Paul was also a great cook. So many options to choose from, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, muffins, a separate buffet area the children could choose from. The biscuits and gravy was incredible. The pool was small but rarely crowded, friendly lifeguards. There were floating Lego bricks to build rafts with. Plenty of umbrellas and lounges. The Skyline Lounge would put cocktails in plastic glasses so you could have them poolside. A bit pricey but far from weak drinks so worth the price. There is so much for the children to do in the evenings. Citizens are in the lobby to meet and greet. The entire hotel was clean top to bottom, inside and out. The housekeeper citizens were friendly and helpful. Each day when we returned to our room there was a Lego building set on my grandson's bed. At times there was a wait for one of the elevators but we would just take the stairs up or down. Every citizen was friendly and kind, Zachary and the Knight Light were extra kind. After day one my son suggested we make this an annual trip, I concur. All three adults said we wouldn't change a thing other than the buffet foods being hotter and maybe a few more options.
