First off the pool was disgusting along with the hallways and game room garbage and trash everywhere multiple phone books and garbage in the pool. They have no change to give you for the game room. Every room came with a flat screen except ours also with NO remote to the television.

"Worst hotel i have ever stayed in"
June, 2017
It was filthy, felt like no air. Couldnt charge phones bc the outlets were unsafe and would fall straight out.Smelled like mildew ...stains on covers and curtains and the state had shut their pool down and made me quiver... Only reason i booked was bc it was close to lego land but recommend people to not stay here

Things we loved: non-smoking rooms, the large Olympic swimming pool, the T- Rex statue made out of metal, the free passes for the awesome Move gym across the street, walking distance to several very nice locally based (as in non-chain) restaurants, Walgreens and for some strange reason about five auto parts stores. Things we expect in a hotel and were satisfied with: clean room, nice white towels, friendly professional staff. Things we put up with because the price was right: bland hot breakfast like all hotels have now, WiFi that is spotty and slow, the infrastructure of a hotel built in the 60’s or maybe prior to and which they are trying to update but it’s a work in progress (ie, our A/C serenaded us every night with loud vibrations but at least didn’t drip condensation on the floor like the room we were in the first night.) Overall, if I’m gonna stay in a cheap hotel, at least it has old Florida charm and more deck chairs than a cruise ship

**Previous reviews almost deterred us from staying! Very glad we didn't listen and stayed!** We booked this hotel because our trip was based around going to Legoland. Legoland is literally right behind it. If staying on backside of hotel you can see the tops of some rides. We walked to Legoland took us under 10 minutes. Hotel is in a safe and quiet area. The hustle and bustle per say like Orlando is way off from this location. It seemed the whole area closed at 9. The staff and security guard were extremely friendly and professional. The price was excellent for what we received and what we stayed for. Could the hotel use some upgrades, yes. If the price per night was high I would expect it. We payed 58.00 a night. Far far less than any other hotel close to the area we looked for. This was our first time to Legoland and this particular hotel was an excellent choice for us. Note also we rarely stay in hotels as we usually rent private homes on our out of town vacations. If you're going to Legoland and want the closeness to the park but do not want the price tag or crowd stay here. We saw no bugs!

"Good Experience!"

I was wary to book here because of the bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel appears to be recently under new management, and you can tell they’re making improvements. Also the location can’t be beat if you’re going to Legoland. The front desk staff were really nice upon checkin, and when we got to the room it was clean and fresh. That evening we used the amazingly large pool, which was awesome! The free breakfast was standard limited fare, but it was free - and the attendants were super friendly, asking us if we needed anything and refilling coffee at tables. You can tell the hotel is older, and needs some improvements - for example, the hotel room had a slight musty smell and the carpet was quite stained. However, you can tell they’re renovating - the hot tub area was under construction, there appeared to be a fresh paint job and new sink area in the room, etc. Most of the changes that need to be made are cosmetic and don’t affect the actual comfort of your stay. Overall we had a good experience, and I’d definitely stay here again if in the area!
