Our experience for a couple with a 5 night stay in a preferred room: Magical express: The service was great! Our driver was friendly and very nice. The bus goes from MCO to Art of Animation then to Pop Centry. Check-in: The castmember at registration wasn't very polite, friendly, or accommodating. She didnt even smile once. Infact she seemed quite irritated and annoyed when I confirmed that we had a preferred room booked an if we could get a king or something in the 60/70s area. She straight up said "no you already have a room that's ready". It was rude that she didnt even look. The castmember next to us did look for the other couple that was checking-in though, lucky them... Room: Our room was in the 50's building on the second floor. The newly refurbished rooms are quite nice. There is a big screen TV, and the bathroom has a lot of shelving. The wooden floors are nice but can be slippery. The beds are firm so if you enjoy sleeping on a firm bed, you'll like it. They were a little too firm for me, but after a long day at the parks, I was able to sleep like a baby. Housekeeping: We opted out of housekeeping and got a $40 giftcard. However when we needed towels, housekeeping was happy to provide us some. Bell services: These guys were great. We got our luggage to the room within 30 minutes of checking in. On checkout we needed our luggage transferred to the Wilderness Lodge and they were happy to accommodate. Food Court: The food offerings were pretty decent and had a large variety of options. My husband actually prefers the quick service options at Pop over any of the quick service at the deluxe resorts. Bus transportation to parks: The buses seemed to be more frequent at this resort and little wait times. My only issue is that during park closings they like to cram tons of people onto a bus like sardines which I feel can be very uncomfortable and also dangerous. Overall: This value resort isnt bad and aside from the grumpy castmember at check-in, we will probably stay again.

"Nice stay!"

As a solo traveler visiting WDW I wanted to stay on property, but chose a Value Resort based on the amount of time I would actually be in the room. I knew my days would be spent at the parks, so my basic need for the room was for sleep and shower. This totally met my needs. I have stayed here before and it was nice to see the renovations which they have recently done to the rooms. I felt my room was always cleaned properly, and the grounds were well-kept. I had quite a long walk to the buses which departed to/from the parks as well as the long walk to the bus area at each of the parks. Seemed like Pop Century was often placed one of the last area where buses were parked, so be prepared for additional walking after a full day of walking in the park. The primary reason for not giving this resort a five-star rating is due to the paper thin walls. I could clearly hear everything that my "neighbors" were saying and doing in the room, including hearing toilets flushing. Generally I was too tired to be bothered with this noise, but there were some nights I was awaken by the noise. I wouldn't say they were noisy, just that the walls were very thin. The staff at the resort were very friendly and professional. The dining area had a lot to offer, but seemed short staffed and the lines to order and receive food were very long. I guess after a full day at the park and waiting in many lines, the last thing you want to do is stand in another long line to get your food. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Pop Century and would most-likely stay here again.

"A magical week"

Everything at Disney's Pop Century Resort was as magical as you would expect from Disney! With the recent renovations, the rooms have been upgraded in comfort and convenience. The beds are as comfortable as moderate resort. Space is used well to allow for plenty of storage. The theming is the best on property. And of course it wasn’t just clean...it was DISNEY CLEAN! Impeccable! We have stayed at moderate and value resorts but this stay at Pop Century solidified our desire to stay at a value for the true Disney theming and feel. The food court had delicious hot food and a good selection of grab and go cold foods and beverages-including alcohol. I made many fast friends by grabbing a drink and heading to the common areas to meet fellow DisNerds. It was really our best Disney experience and we would absolutely go back again!
