"Fantastic hotel and brilliant location for Epcot and Hollywood studios"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We chose this hotel because we wanted some down time from the parks and the resort and pool looked amazing. It was!!!! The hotel is bright and airy. Our room was lovely, we had an amazing balcony and it was in a fantastic location really close to reception. Good news after a long night walking round the parks that we could stumble back to our room. The location of the hotel was brilliant for Epcot and Hollywood studios. We caught the boat to Hollywood studios and we walked (it is five mins) to Epcot. Magic Kingdom was a 25min bus ride which seems like an eternity when you are tired. I do not think it helped that the bus queue for this resort was always really really long I think this was because it was for both the beach club and yacht club. If you were planning to spend a lot of your time going back and forwards to magic kingdom I might consider a different resort. I loved this resort and would absolutely stay here again. (We have also stayed at the Boardwalk and Wilderness Lodge and the beach resort was definitely my favourite!).

"Dont bother unless your american"

Unless your American expect awful customer service, being stuck in a room as far away from everything in the resort and having your hotel room doors left open by house keeping. It's a shame as this does have an amazing pool and brilliant restraunts. The attempts by the front desk to resolve these problems fell a bit short and there seems to be a lack of communication. Between departments. Real shame as they managed to kill the magic.

"A Magical Resort!"

Can't say enough great things about this resort. The dining is great (Cape May which I reviewed separately) and a pool area like you have never seen. All the pools are sand bottom and stretch the entire length of the resort. An awesome poolside bar and restaurant. Plenty of stuff for the kids. A very cool barber shop which I have utilized! An ice cream shop (Beaches and Cream), and the rooms are very nice. Also has a separate DVC hotel on property as well for us DVC members. A wonderful stay! Have stayed here over a dozen times I would say and have never been disappointed. A great perk to staying here also is that you are a short walk to the World Showcase entrance to Epcot which is NEVER crowded. A great way to slip in the park. Especially if you're just going for World Showcase.

"First Disney Visit"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

Our small family travelled to Walt Disney World for our first visit this month. So much fun! We stayed a few nights at the Beach Club. The resort was amazing. Beautiful lobby, grounds and location. The resort is meticulously cared for, with the gardens and walkways being very clean. The small beach facing Crescent lake had swings to sit and look at the Boardwalk area. The resort was conveniently placed to several restaurants, other hotels and two theme parks. Funnily, we didn't visit Epcot or Hollywood Studios. We picked this location as it was centrally located & for the pool. We booked a woods view room and had checked in online weeks prior to arrival. During online check in, Disney ask your room preferences. We had requested a high floor room, and a larger balcony. We received a high floor and a sit out balcony with two chairs facing the woods & Epcot. We could see the top of the 'ball' at Epcot. It was really peaceful & quite. The room was certainly large enough, with two queen beds. The room was very clean and housekeeping did a great job. A small bar fridge is provided for food/ drinks. The bathroom itself was on the smaller side, however had a double vanity with lots of bench space outside the bathroom. Checking in was fine, and most interactions with staff was easy & pleasant. Just a few delays experienced with concierge staff. The pool was the best. Our daughter was in love with the pool. The lazy river, the beach, the slides. It was all great. We never felt it was too busy. The only complaint was the towels they give out at the pool could have been better, as they are essentially a bath towel (not beach towel size). We also used the sandcastle club, the onsite kids club. They were great & our daughter had the best time, including meeting Chip & Dale. The only real issue was the bus transport / schedule. There was no 'schedule' just every 20 minutes, but from when? This was the same from all the parks & Disney Springs. The electronic board listing the next bus arrival is not in the lobby, so you have to walk down to the transport stop to obtain this information. Surely with the My Disney Experience App & GPS they could create a virtual bus schedule advising when the next bus is expected to arrive in the app. This would definitely help if you had a reservation or after a long day at the parks. We loved this resort and would highly recommend.

"This place is bananas! (in a really good way)"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

This place is AMAZING!!! The convenience of having a back-door entrance to Epcot trumps all! But wait, there's more! The hotel is beautiful - from the well-manicured grounds that truly remind you of a beach town to the rooms that are tastefully decorated. They had this sweet black and white picture of Minnie and Mickey flying a kite at the beach. I've never considered actually putting up Disney artwork in my home - until now. The little ice cream shop is great and eating breakfast in the quiet courtyard was a perfect start to the day. The rooms and hotel are quite despite the size. It's great to be so close to the Boardwalk as well. Let's talk about the pool for a minute though. OMG its amazing! There's a pirate ship with slides and a shallow pool for the littles. There's a lazy river and the bottom of the pool is sand! It's huge! Such a relaxing retreat from the craziness of the parks. I love this place and will stay here again and again. its worth every penny.
