"Dream Stay at Disney"

We have been to Disney many times and have stayed adjacent to Disney property and in the old downtown Disney, but staying at a Disney resort this close to the parks was a long time dream. The Beach Club and adjacent Yacht Club are incredible with a great pool area. The room was comfortable and clean -- we had adjoining rooms with other family members. We were able to meet Disney characters too. And, the ability to walk right over to Epcot was fantastic. Once in a lifetime as it is costly but wonderful.

"Another Wonderful Stay at this Epcot Hotel"

My husband, two girls (ages 13 and 10) and I had our second stay at the Beach Club Resort for three nights. Previously, we have stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort and Polynesian and this is our favorite Disney property. Following are comments: • POOL: The crown jewel of the property is the pool complex. Several large, serpentine pools intertwine to create a large swimming area. There’s a water slide, complimentary life jackets, sandy bottom pools and a shallow sandy area for kids where buckets and shovels are out for use. We also liked Hurricane Hannah’s grille, which served burgers, salads, etc. – and kids’ meals come in a sand bucket you keep. We ate there after swimming for the afternoon and didn’t have to change/get cleaned up for a “formal” dinner. • EPCOT: The walk to Epcot is short. Really short. They say five minutes, but I think it took us three or four. You walk up a little ramp-hill, then walk down another, and you’re there. It’s a fantastic way to come and go from the park without the hassle of transportation. Note: You do arrive at the International Gateway entrance, not the main entrance. They let us in a minute or so before the official park opening to give our entrance a quote, “running start.” This is to get to rides like Test Track, etc., which are a further walk from this entrance. • ROOM/CLUB LEVEL: Our room was nice. This time we were in a deluxe corner room on the fourth floor. Large room with two queen beds, chair, desk, sofa and small standing-room-only balcony. We stayed on the Club level and loved the complimentary snacks and drinks. Light breakfast offerings, mid-day snacks (home-made chips, pretzels, trail mix, lemonade, soft drinks, special house-blend punch), dinnertime hors d'oeuvres, evening desserts, etc. While it’s designed for light snacking, it was perfect for us. There’s also a turn-down service at night with chocolates on the pillow. • TRANSPORTATION: Bus transportation was convenient although the ferry to Hollywood Studios wasn’t operating. •DISNEY MAGICAL EXPRESS: We checked our luggage and printed our boarding passes right at the resort. Our bags were waiting for us at our destination airport. Staffers from the airline work there outside; they’re not Disney employees. Then, we got complimentary transportation to the airport. So convenient. • STAFF: Staff was welcoming, friendly and courteous. • RESTAURANT: The on-site Soda Fountain restaurant requires reservations for any chance at a seat for dinner. This is a tough reservation to get and should be booked as early as you would with Royal Table, Via Napoli, etc. • GROUNDS: The grounds are gorgeous, and the property is a short walk to the Boardwalk, which we did not have time explore, unfortunately. There’s also a sandy beach area with chairs and outdoor movies. We were only at the parks for three nights, but I would have loved more time to explore. There was just so much to do/see on property.

we checked in on a Friday night and had an excellent time. Our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter and grandson and niece joined us. we checked in, the room was not ready yet, and it was 6:30 pm. but no fears, the staff found us a fantastic space. we had booked on the concierge level and we got it!! a huge suite for all of us was waiting and ready after 30 minutes. concierge level is really nice too. We had 3 bedrooms and 3 baths; the place was a 5 minute walk to the back side of Epcot-- really really great. And we had a 3 sided view of the fireworks. For children young and old-- this was really magical. The food was good as were the drinks! The wine was nice! I highly recommend this approach with family!

This is where you want to stay if you plan to visit Epcot. You walk out the door, up the walk and right into the park. We had a room designed for the handicapp. It was roomy for the wheelchair and a roll in shower for safety and convenience and close to the lobby on the ground floor. It was a little pricey as you pay for location. Decor was understated beachy. Room very clean with nice amenities

"Gorgeous Hotel and Pool; Very Convenient"

We have stayed at many Disney resorts but had yet to try the Beach Club, and I can say this one is a new favorite. We LOVED being able to walk to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot since we were focusing our trip on that park primarily. It was so convenient for afternoon swim breaks at the fantastic pool. Surprisingly, the pool never felt crowded and we even had some parts all to ourselves. We had no trouble finding chairs each of the days even when we arrived later in the afternoon. The staff did a good job of checking to make sure that everyone was a guest of the resort as well. Every afternoon they had a character dressed in their beachwear to interact with the kids; this is something that I had not seen at other deluxe resorts. In regards to our room, it was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. We had a corner king room on the fourth floor that had two small balconies and the room was huge! Our only complaint about The Beach Club is the quick service food options are somewhat limited. The Marketplace only serves flatbreads and sandwiches, and we weren't that impressed with the food offerings at Hanna's either. But overall, we LOVED this resort and would definitely return. The staff was friendly and the resort was gorgeous!
