"Magical Vacation"

The Art of Animation is wonderful. We stayed in the Cars family suite for 6 days and there was plenty of room for 4 teens and 1 adult. Mousekeeping was EXCELLENT. The room was cleaned every day and extra towels left in each bathroom. It was great having two bathrooms. We went to the Cozy Cone pool and the Big Blue pool. Both were very good. I loved the cozy cone shade areas. The grounds are beautiful and the themes are very well done. We stayed in building 2 room 2819 on the 4th floor with a view on the lake. I did on line check in prior to arrival and all of my requests were honored. The room was ready for check in at 11:00am so we were able to get off of the magical express and head straight to the room with our magic bands. PANDORA is unbelievable.A must see and the two attractions are phenomenal. Incredible experience! Be prepared to wait a long time for the buses when you are leaving the park. The buses run frequently from the resort to the parks and Disney Springs but the return rides are not as frequent. We took the bus to Pop Century one evening and walked because it was faster than waiting for the Art of Animation bus. All of the resort and park staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We truly had a magical vacation!!

"Worth the MONEY "

This was a surprise for my Son's 5th BIRTHDAY. And it was soooooo worth the money saved up for 2 years and spent. He was totally surprised to stay with his favorite CARS FRIENDS. From the welcome when getting out of the car, to the assistance with our luggage from car to room. Check-in was a breeze and room was even ready early. That was a huge plus, as it was requested but not promised. As you walk to the buildings, you are taking a trip to RADIATOR SPRINGS!! We stayed in the Cars3 building and it did not disappoint with the layout. The 3rd floor facing the courtyard has the best view. Themed out to the Cars movie down to the carpet. The 1 bedroom suite is big enough for 5 people comfortably....I would say 6 would be tight, but you could make it work. Housekeeping was on point. They allow you to sleep in before knocking mid-morning and they tidy up really well. The resort has 3 pools, including the Cozy Cone pool. We used this one and the BIG BLUE POOL and the splash pad. They have pool games Friday/Sat and movies at night. The cafe was wonderful, open from 6am-12am. They serve a variety of food, so it will have something for everyone. Prices are typical for a resort. We didn't do the dining plan, as we knew we wouldn't eat full meals. But keep in mind, Disney does have Quick meals and Snacks in their plan as well, when you are considering this staying on property. They have a giftshop too, that includes a area of essentials, personal items if you forgot something. And Another thing I loved was the DISNEY BANDS, not only do you need them to get in your room but...I connected my credit card and didn't have to pull out my card anymore during the trip. I used it everywhere, from the resort, universal, disney, etc. Set up my Pin at check-in and was good to go. The staff was friendly, informative and very helpful, there wasn't one person who couldn't answer my questions . They made the whole stay very magical. If you can afford to stay at ART OF ANIMATION....stay. Even if not at this resort, save a little each month and stay at a DISNEY RESORT. Your little one will not be disappointed and you will remember the SMILES AND JOY FOREVER!!

"Wonderful place to stay"

Stayed in early June with daughter, son-law, 2 1/2 year old grandson. Nemo suites were clean and well appointed. Close to main building and transportation. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Perfect place if you have little ones--actually much better than my stays with DD years ago at moderate and even deluxe resorts!! the only thing missing is a sit down restaurant and inside bar. Food court was hit or miss, depending on the time of day and what was ordered. But, still good!

"Still one of the best!"

It has been five years since we visited Art of Animation. It remains perhaps the best deal at Disney. It is classified as a value resort. Great service. Price is reasonable for Disney. You get all of the Disney resort benefits at a much cheaper rate than the moderate or deluxe resorts and it is certainly nicer than the All Star or Pop Century resorts. Our family of 6 was comfortable in the suite. Included 2 beds and a pull out couch and two bathrooms. Staff is excellent. We left something valuable in the safe and received a call from Disney hours after checkout. All the money was still there. Very impressive.

We stayed at Pop but walked the bridge over to AoA daily. The grounds are great. They're so fun and well done. It is true when you read reviews that the Little Mermaid rooms are a good walk to buses and the food court. Honestly it was quite a walk and not something I'd want to do many times per day so I would opt for a suite or another resort. We thought the Cars area was most fun but all of the areas are very cute and fun for the whole family.
