Love the place but didn't like that we where in a corner room and kids or teens where knocking at the door after midnight. So if you stay don't get a corner room

"Great stay at a Value resort"

We stayed for a week at the All-Star Sports surf hotel and loved it. Well, at least the time we were in the room! We were so busy we didn't even get to explore the rest of the buildings at the resort. Housekeeping services was responsive, the rooms were stocked with new towels and soap/shampoo/conditioner every day. The restaurant at the resort had a great variety of food, drinks, and snacks, even for the persons in our party on a special diet.

"Soccer tournament at Disney All Sports"

We are just returning from a Presidents’ Day soccer tournament at Disney. Wanted to offer a few pieces based on our experience. The hotel and room service was much better than I expected based on reviews that I read here. Housekeeping was fabulous as was the front desk staff. We were able to rent a car and get food from local grocery stores which helped immensely with our food tab. We also utilized Uber Eats a couple of nights and had wonderful success. This let the kids hang out and play at the pool and meet and play soccer with kids rather than travel time and having to wait at restaurants. Here is key tip- For those playing over at ESPN (actually anywhere) please make sure to give yourself plenty of extra time. We did not plan for all the traffic and congestion. Plus the time needed to purchase the $18.50 per adult entrance fee we barely made it to our field. Overall the hotel was much more positive experience than we had planned for. Planning is key. Good luck soccer families!

"Don't be fooled, we loved this resort!"

We have been at All-Star Sports since the 14th. We are staying here as my daughter was competing at a gymnastics competition at ESPN Wide World of Sports. We have been to Disney in the past and usually stay at Port Orleans or rent a cabin at Fort Wilderness. Let me tell you VERY little difference between Port Orleans being a moderate hotel and this value resort! In fact my daughter pointed it out - 2 sinks instead of one and less than 56 square foot difference. I will admit I did not want to stay at a value resort, but her friends and team wanted to stay here so to be close to everyone we did too. Now I'm wondering why we didn't check it out before! We are staying in room 4115 in the Center Court area. We are on the back side of the building, which I highly recommend, and no issues, it's been very quiet and the hotel is packed being President's Day weekend and winter break for many schools from the North, including us. The room is just fine for the two of us, or 3 if my husband was with us. It's not a luxury room but does the job, is clean, comfortable beds and meets our needs. Nothing fancy but certainly not spartan. Transportation has been fine for the most part, we have never waited for more than one bus even though it's packed. You might wait 20-30 minutes if you don't time it good, but that's not the hotel's fault. Only recommendation I can make is the food court. While it offers a variety of food, if you are here 7 or more days it's the same food over and over again Pool area is great but only open 10-8 would be nice if it opened a little earlier and closed a little later but there are many rooms that would be impacted by the noise. Nice little game room for kids and fun to walk around and check out the different sports themes. My daughter is already planning our next trip and says let's just stay here, not worth the more money for such little more space and a sink! Going to be sad to leave this place Thursday!

We were in town for a sporting event for kiddo so wanted to be close to the ESPN complex. The hotel is nothing fancy - no coffee maker/microwave in room. Rooms are small but then again, you aren't in them much. Place could use some updating with decor etc. and our shower leaked water but they did come to fix it within a day. There is no fitness center which being a sports hotel makes for irony! Front desk is crazy busy - and concierge was long wait. Had free mini golf thrown in on booking - but no one seemed to know how to get to it. Their game room is a bit lame and we lost a couple of game transactions $$ due to failures of balls not dropping down to us or machine busted. The pool was busy and offered kiddie movies for younger kids but it was clean and water nice temp. We had the Disney meal plan with 2 a day and the cafeteria style dining at hotel would get very busy at times but the food was actually quite good. Made to order omelets, grilled burgers, salmon and decadent desserts. The workers in dining were some of the most helpful in all of Disney! At night, some guest were loud and kids would be running around til all hours but we were on side away from 'fields' so relatively quieter. If we have to return for another sporting event, I'll opt to upgrade our hotel experience and would rather travel further to the ESPN venue because even this hotel was not close enough to walk so had to use the bus services (which are convenient and pretty efficient).

"Disappointing Disney experience"

At Disney we've stayed at all levels of resorts now, and I can say that it is a huge step down to go to the value level. And I spent the summer road tripping the West staying in motels for each stop, so my expectations aren't too high. No coffee in the room, room cleaning after 3:00 every single day, despite a call at 7am one day to request (and was told it would happen) early housekeeping, only to return to the room at 3:30 to it still not cleaned, and it took another hour for that to happen. Streaks of paint on the wall, literal chipped paint, no sound barrier between rooms, opened soap by the sink, no refill of glasses when they did clean, and the wrong rooms Disney Magical Express note for a room nowhere near us. Positives? The room is relatively large? The pools are nice, the food is fine (as to be expected) and good transport to the parks, with the longest rides to Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom.
