"We love coco key an we are locals"

First off we love the park...however what needs to be known is that Eli the manager tries to find customers who are smoking weed an not kick them out or call the cops but extort money out of them...who knows how many tourist he has actually bullied into paying him to not call the police on them...we left BC being from Orlando there is no way any one is gonna get paid to be a snitch... Smoking pot is one thing extortion is another. I will be telling everyone who will listen.. Corporate parent company everyone!!!

"Great water park for small kids"

I am just finishing my stay at coco key. Here are the positives.... the water park is excellent for small children!!! Extremely safe! Multiple lifeguards continuously walk around and monitor the pool at all times, I was VERY impressed! The park has fun places/slides both inside and out so you can enjoy any day with any weather. The water was well heated without being to warm, temperature was perfect: water and pool was very clean as well, however, in regards to the area around pool...it is hard to find a table or place to put your belongings when busy and if you do find a table or chair they were never cleaned during the day after use. There was a lot of dirty trays and leftover food on tables. I would gladly put up with this due to the fact most all of the staff is busy watching the swimmers and providing a safe environment. I think this is a great deal for the price. Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful! They will do anything to make a guest happy...this is a very friendly and kid friendly place. Now unfortunately for the negative. I actually recommend this place if you can overlook its short comings. The hallways are extremely dirty and smelly. During our stay the lights in the hallways and stairwell did not work even though I saw them attempt to repair both nights of my stay. It was very dangerous for small children (and adults) to walk up and down those stairs because they haven’t been washed and were slippery from grime and dark to the point of not being able to see. But, like I said, they are working on it. I am a long time traveler and have stayed at many hotels/resorts. These rooms are fair at best. Very roomy, beds are average, linens are horrible (cheap and stained) pillows are either lumpy or hard. Fairly clean....just passable. No bugs but I had to ask for clean linens constantly.... I suggest bleaching the sheets but they are probably afraid to clean too hard as they would fall apart because they are so cheap/poor quality. If you get a reduced rate I would say you are getting what you paid for because this is nothing resort like. You are paying for the water park.

Had a great time. It's a good location and you don't need a car if your visiting the parks. Room was cleaned daily and all the staff were amazing. I would stay here again. I was a bit concerned with the bad reviews but you can't please everybody. I got a good deal with Virgin Holidays.

This is a great deal for a family that doesn't mind an older property. In a nut shell, the rooms are clean. The water-park surpassed our expectations and is included for the whole family with the room fee. They have a wonderful arcade and several bars. You really do not need to leave the resort to have a great weekend in Orlando. We will be back for sure.

"Family Holiday"

we was looking forward to staying at Coco Keys Hotel ... but it was an awful experience i have stayed in many hotels in Orlando over the last ten years but this one has left us numb to a place we love , i don't want to go in to every detail as i have tried dealing with Virgin Holidays for the last ten weeks and got nowhere so now my complaint is with ABTA but i feel it only fare to any other family to WARN them not to stay at Coco keys in the months of November or December as you most likely will be sharing a building with 300 kids and there 4 whole chaperones like i said this doesn't even scratch the surface of our disappointment or my complaints , if you can select a different hotel on International Drive it may avoid this happening to you .
