"We love coco key an we are locals"

First off we love the park...however what needs to be known is that Eli the manager tries to find customers who are smoking weed an not kick them out or call the cops but extort money out of them...who knows how many tourist he has actually bullied into paying him to not call the police on them...we left BC being from Orlando there is no way any one is gonna get paid to be a snitch... Smoking pot is one thing extortion is another. I will be telling everyone who will listen.. Corporate parent company everyone!!!

This place is very popular so if you are looking for a quiet spot then give it a miss! Our room was in building six and was a decent size for four people, the bathroom was very well used but it was clean and usable. The maids came EVERY day with fresh towels and loo paper etc. The water park is great for kids, infants and adults too, there were the usual rowdy bunch who's parents seem to think that it's someone else's job to look after their kids while they impersonate 'Shamu'. There's plenty of life guards on duty to try and keep customers in check, the smoothies from the bar are very nice and the pizza was ok although a little expensive. Location is good if you are not driving with plenty of restaurant choices within easy walking distance. There are better places to stay in the area but when you consider what you get for what you have paid then this place is a winner - good value for money

Stayed here three years ago and loved it. It's in a perfect spot for quick dinning and not far from Universal and Islands. This time not so much. I reserved pool side deluxe. It's not any different than any other rooms. Refrigerator didn't work, air conditioner buttons were worn off and couldn't tell what button to use. Never got below 75 degrees. Very few channels on tv. If your expecting to use your wifi on your phone. Well you get it free for the first twenty four hours then it's $9.99 a day. I pay for wifi on my phone, not having it blocked so I would pay you for it. Waterpark was so crowded we couldn't enjoy. Won't be back.

Enjoyed the stay and Gloria was so nice at the front desk. Actually everyone was so nice there. The location was ideal for everything we wanted to do! No one came knocking on the door early to see if we were checking out as they do in other places. I was able to just relax and let the kids sleep in while I got ready for the day...Loved it!

"Bad impression"

I came in to this hotel today to check in and the employee with the badge name Gloria floor Supervisor, was rude, she never welcomed us and she requested to see ID in a non proper way ( with attitude). This experience gave me a very bad impression about the hotel, it's very disapointing. As guests, my family expects respect and appreciation for our business.

We came to coco key with family because of the water park and arcade and proximity to Disney. We usually stay at universal or Disney resorts so this was a change for us. Upon arriving at 3pm, we were told our room wasn’t ready and we would receive a call when it was. Check in was at 4, so although I’m usually able to check in early with no issues, we were fine with this since it wasn’t actually check in time yet. We received a call around 5pm that our room was ready, which was a little irritating since it should have been an hour earlier and we have small children who were tired. Once we got to the room, it was apparent that it needed some major upgrades. There were badly patched holes which looked as if someone had punched the wall, and overall it didn’t look very clean. On the positive side, the water park area was great and it was nice to have restaurants on site for when we were too tired to leave to go out to eat. If they cleaned up and redecorated the rooms this place would be great!
