This resort is more like home away from home. The rooms are more like a town house in which it feels like home. I would diffenitly stay here again the resort was on top of everything. Very clean updated and everything you could possibly need on vacation.
Tip: Plan on staying in home away from home. Tarfet next door so shopping is roght there.

Didn't receive cleaning or towels on day 1. Called and they brought towels. They don't have wash clothes only received 4 one time that week even after asking. They have bath towels, rugs, and medium hand towels. Socks and feet were very black from the floors even on day 1. Looks like haven't mopped well in a while. Throughout the whole week there we didn't get the floors swept. Don't like seeing crumbs in the kitchen and living room. Cleaning only consisted of new big towels, making beds, and trash.
3 bedroom villa was nice with small kitchen corner and living room. It accommodated our family and was near attractions. Staff was nice. Will look for cleaner and more spacious kitchen living area next time.
Tip: Bring your own wash clothes, mop, and broom.

A very average choice in hotels. The price however was good for our budget and since we didn't stay longer than 5 days at Disney we didn't spend much time in the hotel. Cleanliness was ok. The pool and grounds were great for our kids. The pond, fountains and basketball court were a great idea but the front desk only had one basketball available and it was flat. Overall it was a very average experience.
Tip: You get what you pay for.

"It's a gem! Nice little condos!"

I was pleasantly surprised with this property. The grounds are beautiful with creeks and moss in the trees. My daughter really liked the playground. The two bedroom was spacious with the living, kitchen and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs had another bath & two bedrooms (1 King & 2 double beds). This is great for a family of six and close to the Disney parks. If your looking to stay on Irlo Bronson, this a good choice.
Tip: Driving to the property is very busy, but once you enter hotel.. They are tucked away on marsh lands.

"Poor quality of management"

The quality of this resort has gone down. The carpet was dirty and villas was not that clean.Spider webs were in the corners of the walls out side of doors. Also, their was a strong smell of mildew in my bathroom area. We paid for the meeting room, in which upon returning to it for our Saturday evening session, it had not been clean, dirty cups, trash had not been picked up. Ask for water pitchers to be replished and received them about one hour later. Also, the AC was not working in the meeting room, after suffering in the heat and working with the maintenace crew we were moved to another location. I do feel that we should be offered a refund on the saturday night meeting room for the inconvience. Management did not do anything to make our stay better. The nicest people there were the young man and the lady in resturant area and the front desk people.

We had a 3 bedroom/2 bath villa (with full kitchen). It's about a 10 minute drive from the Disney parks plus, there is a super target next door. Super-Cold A/C and TVs in each bedroom and the living room area. Though it has a full kitchen, there really aren't the proper utensils to cook a full mean, but we were there for Disney and mostly ate on the go. The shower door downstairs didn't close properly but it was not big deal. Con: The walls are super thin, though, and we could hear conversations and the TV from the next villa.

"Spacious and clean villas, but average stay"

We had a 2 Bedroom/2 Bath Villa. Location is great, approximately 15-20 mins from Disney parks. There is a Super Target next door which closes at midnight everyday, and it is not as crowded as Walmart. A couple of fast foods on that Target plaza. A short drive from a Publix and many restaurants. There is a mini golf next door. Area is quiet. Hotel pictures are not up to date. There is no security guard on site and gate was open all day. Not all rooms have stoves with oven, these are limited. Unfortunately the view from those villas is not good. To one side the view is next door's business buildings and to the other side the hotel office. Almost all other villas have views of the lake, FL cypress trees and walking pathways, as seen in some pictures posted by other travelers. It was soothing to hear the sounds of nature at night. A lot of wildlife in that lake. These villas are big. It was very clean when we arrived, and it looks the carpet was recently replaced. We got 1 Bedroom with 1 King bed and the other one with 1 Queen bed. They called it "standard room". Rooms are upstairs. Bathroom had a double sink and is separated from the toilet/bathtub area. Bathroom sink area lighting was poor. Plenty of towels and basic toiletries provided. Closet in each room and there is safety box. Plenty of space to move around. There is a TV in each room, although only one room had cable TV connected. The other one had the regular digital antenna. Ceiling fans, arm chair and clock radio in both rooms. On the first floor there is another bathroom with a shower. hair dryer, basic toiletries and plenty of towels. Never had issues with water temperature. Lighting was excellent in first floor's bathroom. Full kitchen had the stove with oven (in selected rooms only), full size refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and a microwave. Dishes, cups, glasses and silverware for 6 people. Pots-a large stainless pot, a small teflon pot and a teflon pan. Cooking utensils, can and bottle opener, cutting board, ice bucket and a large colander. Kitchen lighting was poor. Dish soap, sponge, dishwasher detergent and coffee provided. There were no pot holders and no paper towels. Ample space in living room. A Queen sofa bed, a coffee table, an arm chair, dining room set with 4 chairs, TV and ceiling fan. Lighting was good in this area. There is a closet with an iron and ironing board. A/C was great. Balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. No screen in balcony. Noise from next door's room can be heard, like when talking, going up and down stairs, and the crinkly sound of the 2nd floor, etc. Furniture was fine, I do not consider it outdated. Housekeeping is done every day. There are only 3 ice machines around the complex. Large parking lot. Smoke-free units. There is a restaurant on site offering traditional american cuisine, breakfast, lunch and dinner, and there is a bar. Pool was good, and pool towels are provided. Free shuttle to Epcot. There is $12 hotel fee per night.

So we arrived May 3rd. We booked through Virgin holidays and nowhere on the site did it state I'd be required to pay a $200 upfront fee for our stay on arrival. In the 14 days here our beds have been changed once and I had to speak to front desk for this to happen. I was told the room would be "vip'd" the next day. They changed the bedding, vacuumed, changed the towels and mopped the floor, of this is the VIP then don't expect much around it. They state bedding will be changed every 3 days and made daily. Our beds have been made 3-4 times throughout our stay. The small children's pool has caused my daughter to have a rash, I removed her from the pool when I noticed it was cloudy and smelt like sewage. A comment was made to a member of staff passing which agreed that the pool wasn't right. It was emptied and changed but my daughter had already sat in it. There was a cobble missing from the floors the pool side which I buckled in and hurt my ankle. The large pool today is full of flies and wasps. Asked reception for a net so we ourselves could clear them from the pool and was told they'd send someone round, an hour later asked again, was told the pool man wasn't there and only he had access to the cupboard to get the nets. As it's our last day we did want the kids to enjoy the day swimming in the larger pool. We asked if we could use the facilities as our flight isn't until 8pm. Initially we were told no but after speaking to Tamara the manager and explaining the issues with housekeeping (il come back to that) she agreed we could stay longer in our room to freshen up and shower the kids etc before we leave for our flight. Housekeeping issues around the bedding are: Having to ask for toilet rolls/ fresh towels cause they never do the room Informing them of at faeces on the balcony 6 days ago. It's still there Carpets are filthy, my daughters white socks are black, this is from the living room area carpet. Beds had hairs in them, this obviously wasn't resolved until the bedding was changed. Bin bags left outside the door for days so flies outside the front and back because of the cat poo. My bathroom mirror came from the wall, luckily the kids were downstairs. There was sick found yesterday under the bed valance not ours! The pool isn't heated! There is no in room safe, there is no spa, there is no en suite like stated. The oven is convection so heats like a bottom grill. Bring your own baking tray as they don't provide them. The dishwasher you have to wait for tablets from housekeeping.... oh wait they don't come! Had a dirty tea towel for 2 weeks. Plus points Good location Nice grounds seen alligator and turtles Great bar/kitchen staff especially the married couple!

We got into our room and the AC was out. Two men came very promptly and got it running again. It did not last through the night. They tried fixing it again next day and had to move us to another room. Staff was kind and quick to respond. They were both clean units with plenty of room. Clean towels daily.
