"spoiled vacation"
February, 2015
After arriving at the hotel at 930am we inquired about early check in which was declined as no one had checked out yet. Checked again at 1130am before heading to Disney, again declined, no rooms are ready yet. The clerk allowed us to lock our bags in a utility closet, we asked if she needed our name or reservation but the clerk said no, we will just check you in when you get back. We were given the wrong time for the return shuttle, so we took a cab back from Disney. When we tried to check in at 1100pm, 12 hours after our last request we were told there were no rooms available. (Our room was prepaid so how does this happen)? We were notified that all hotels were full being Valentine's Day. After about an hour a room at the hotel next door was offered for the night, we were walked over to the other hotel, when we tried to get into the room at midnight it was occupied! We walked back to the Allure hotel where after another 30 minutes we were given another room. This room was filthy, the towel bar hanging off the wall, the toilet didn't flush, large white stains on the carpet and walls, it looked like the beds had been slept in and just re-made and of there were small bugs crawling around the sink. Obviously we will never stay at this property again!

"Our 44th Winter Vacation"

Moved from the Metro to the Allure. Nicer rooms and much cleaner. But moved in on Sunday 77degrees and this is Tuesday 3 times in the heat. They fix it and then it's broke. No towels for the pool. Front desk today a lady just about bit my head off for asking for pool towels and someone to fix the air. Lots of red ants in the bathroom. Leak in the tub. we are in room 2102, very disappointed, this is a beautiful hotel. Toilet seat was broken it got fixed, and toilet got a crack and dirty around the bottom. 1 bed is broken the number bed the left one is not working. Should not have to do this on holidays. Pool area is not very appealing. Better used the YMCA...The cleaning lady on this floor is super and very busy. Pay extra for what? No need of this.

"Good location"

The hotel is average, it was just a place to put our heads after our busy days in parks etc. Certainly no luxuries here. The location is good as directly opposite the Orlando Eye and it's many brilliant restaurants such as Carabas, The Outback Steakhouse and Bahama Breeze. There was an outside swimming pool which wasn't very nice and the sunbeds were all broken. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

"Not alluring at all"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5

The central location just off International Drive is good, close to bars and restaurants. Rooms have TV and a microwave and fridge. The rooms are large and comfortable but that is where it stops. There is a small shop in the reception area and a counter for coffee and sandwiches. I didn’t see the restaurant or the bar area open at any time during our one week stay. That said there is a good bar within walking distance which also does food. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Vending machines on each floor dispense sodas and water, however, once the machine sold out of water it wasn’t replenished for the last three days of our stay. Staff were generally uninterested in any problem guests may have. The batteries for our safe were flat, someone had removed one to prevent the safe’s warning alarm. The battery cover was also missing. I reported this the morning after our arrival and later the same day. I resorted to purchasing batteries and fixing the problem myself. The same day we asked for pool towels, we are still waiting. Although not the fault of the hotel, we were evacuated from the building when the fire alarm was triggered three times in one night. Our fire exit lighting wasn’t working and fire doors had been propped open. Exit instructions were not on the back of the room doors so you had to follow the crowd. Once the alarm stopped people had no idea whether it was safe to renter the hotel there was no instruction from hotel staff. Our concerns were relayed to the management but by the time we departed none of our concerns were addressed forcing us to raise the issue with the Orange County fire department who have ensured these issues were addressed. If all you want is a bed, the rooms are clean if dated. You stay on the understanding that you will probably eat elsewhere. All in all I didn’t find it one bit alluring and would not consider this hotel again.

"Worst HOTEL EVER!!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed January 30, 2018 NEW
First off, I had to personally tighten my toilet set down when I first arrived!!! I should have left at that moment. The entire 3 nights of my stay the room never got below 76 degrees. I complained multiple times to the front desk. They offered to switch my room (like thats convenient) and when I went to that room it was &$#^# 85 DEGREES when I walked in!! The crappy "Select Comfort" mattresses are broken. You can not change them. My bed was set to concrete on one side and sunken on the other side. Our coffee maker had someone else's old coffee grinds and filter left in where house keeping didn't clean it. We didn't ever really have hot water. It would only get to about warm for a little while after waiting for about 10 minutes. The tvs suck!! Don't eat at the restaurant in the lobby unless you like paying $10 for a breakfast where the only thing that has any taste or is tolerable to eat is the fruit. They try to have this look of sophistication when you walk in by having 4 clocks behind the front desk reading times for Orlando, Tokyo, LA, and London. Fancy right? Except for the fact that three of the clocks are broken because they can't afford $6 in batteries!! With all these problems, I complained constantly to the front desk. Talked to manager after manager, and got NOTHING ACCOMPLISHED!!! When I checked out I spoke with Crystal, Front Desk Manager, and she told me my stay would be completely compted for my troubles. I had to call expedia because thats who I booked the room through, they would confirm what I said and my fee would be refunded...THAT WAS A LIE. I left, called expedia, and they told me after I was on hold, the hotel will not refund my stay I could have a $100 voucher for a future booking on expedia. So she lied right to my face. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

"NO AC!"

Worst place and the AC wasn't working. Even after repeated attempts to complain at the front desk, nothing happened! There wasn't a way to adjust the AC in the room as well. They couldn't give us an alternate accommodation.
