 The Clarion Hotel Maingate Orlando is in an exceptional location offering easy access to Disney World Theme Parks, Universal Resort & Sea World. They cater to travelers who are looking to explore Orlando, the Magic of Disney and create everlasting memories while also keeping in mind the budgets many families keep these days. Convenience is also a big factor at the Clarion, apparent by the restaurant on site, Crabby Bill’s, as well as the business center for those without a laptop, which has a $5 fee. Wi-Fi is available free to guests. Crabby Bill’s is open for breakfast and dinner. I enjoyed their breakfast buffet, especially the delicious scrambled eggs, and it was a great way for me to start my day of theme park fun.The hotel has undergone recent renovations, including updates in the lobby, rooms, and hallways. The Orlando Clarion Hotel Maingate offers deluxe double or king rooms, as well as standard double/double rooms. The deluxe king rooms are furnished with a sofa sleeper, which is divided from the main bed area, microwave and refrigerator upon request, updated quality linens, safe in-room, newer case goods and standard size televisions. The deluxe double/double room features the same amenities and color scheme, which is yellow & white, but feels more spacious than the king room. The bathrooms are small, but adequate, and the deluxe rooms feature a curved shower rod for extra space. The amenities at the Clarion Maingate Hotel include a massive game room with air hockey, pin ball and arcade games. The pool area features an all new brick patio, and also has a small kiddie pool, as well as small hot tub. There is also a pool bar which is open Thursday through Sunday.The Clarion Hotel Maingate is an excellent choice for families who want comfort, but at a quality price.  |
