We offer amazing full one hour tours starting a 9am seven day a week!
You’ll love our narrated tours on 23,000 acres of beautiful Lake Toho aboard our coast guard approved airboats with our fully insured licensed captains. Our sleeker, faster 6 passenger boats can offer a more personal tour and our newly added 14 passenger boat can accommodate larger groups!

The great thing about our central location is that we can change our route throughout the year. Our rides actually depend a lot on the water temperature. On our “winter tours” (Nov – April) the water is cooler and the gators stay on top to absorb the heat. The month of May they’re here and there because it’s mating season. Our “summer tours” (June – Oct) the water temperature is hot and gators tend to stay under the water to get away from the heat. These months we go a different path into shady areas to see gators.

We have 4 beautiful baby gators (Cricket, Sergio, Blue and Splash) in our aquarium to hold and take pictures with you at no additional charge. Be sure and bring your camera!! And don’t worry, our captains show you exactly how to hold them. Say cheese!

Reservations are best. We have a lot of walk-ins and we don’t want you to wait any longer than you have to. There is a covered pavilion with picnic tables, a non-smoking back deck where you can eat, drink and snack all while "Surrounding Yourself with Nature".

Wild Willy's also serves food! After your tour, grab a bite at Headwater's Take-Out. Be adventurous and try our World Famous Gator Bites! Buttermilk and hot sauce marinated pieces of alligator meat, tenderized and fried golden brown. For the rest of you, choose from cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, French fries and more, dressed the way you like it! (open 10am to 4pm, seven days a week, subject to change). We have a store on-site where we accept credit cards, sell t-shirts, hats, gator souvenirs, soda, cold beer, ice and a few snacks.

So come on out and try something different! Most people have never been on an airboat ride much less held a real live alligator. Some have said “It feels like flying without ever leaving the ground!” Others have commented “It’s like a magic carpet ride!” There is a reason we maintain our #1 status on TripAdvisor with over 2,100 reviews and growing. We want our guests to top off their vacation by having the most enjoyable and most memorable airboat ride they’ve ever been on. We LOVE our repeat customers!

"Fun and informative"
Reviewed March, 2016
We had a total of 19 people in our group with ages ranging from17 months to 53 years. We had two airboats and captains Ed and Tyler had us meet in a couple places along the tour. The highlight for all was being able to hold the baby gators after the tour. Everybody got a chance and Ed and Tyler were very patient! Great tour!
Tip: To get to airboat the signs along the way say "dead end road" .It is marked with wild Willys signs though

"Great experience"
Reviewed March, 2015
We were excited to go on this trip. My husband & I had taken this trip before with Wild Willy's & my sister & friend Tina wanted to go on an airboat ride & to see alligators. We purchased the tickets & followed our GPS which ended up sending us around in a circle 3 times on the Florida turnpike. Just as this happened Wild Willy's called us to ask us if we needed help getting there & gave us the correct info to get there & moved us to an hour later tour so we could still go. They called us back 10 min later to see if we were OK & to offer more assistance if needed. They were very helpful & wonderful to work with. We saw about a 3-4 yr old gator & a few beds of baby alligators. Saw a bald eagle nest with 2 mature eagles & 2 younger ones also. A lot of birds, nesting hens & cows were also seen. It was a lot of fun. Guide was very informative also.
Tip: If on an early am tour like the 7:30 or 9:00 am dress warm in a sweatshirt with a hood. It is a little chilly & windy. Alligators come out better when its warmer

We had a 1pm reservation, and Wild Willys checked in with us to be sure we were on our way:) We had a fun ride seeing, alligators, bald eagles, turtles, water moccasins, osprey, and much more. A very fun and interesting hour.
Tip: Its a good idea to have a jacket. (At least this time of year.)

"Exhilarating & beautiful"
Reviewed January, 2015
We looked at a few offering airboat rides and glad we picked Wild Willys. It lasted an hr on the water which was perfect, some offer 30mins, that would have been too rushed. Captain Ed was very informative about the whole area as he had grown up there. We saw alligator of various sizes, osprey, bald eagle, turtle and as we went later in the day to be on the lake as the sun was setting was beautiful. We loved it!
Tip: Def go for the 1 hr session, take a camera with a good lens

I took two grandchildren ages 10 and 12 for a 9 am ride. It was not so crazy hot which was a blessing. We saw alligators and plenty of wild life. Tyler, our guide, did a wonderful job talking to the kids at their level and answering the questions. Best part, we were the only ones on the tour. At the end of the tour the kids got to hold a baby gator!

Wild willys airboat tours was just ok. The staff was great and friendly, but i guess i was just expecting more to the experience. I thought we would get more info about alligators and the ecosystem but we didnt get any info. Only saw a few gators which i dont blame the driver he really did try but there were not many around.

"Great Air boat tour!"

My family took a 1 hour tour on the Air Boat in February. It was a very educational and fun tour. The captain was great. It was a fun ride and we found lots of animals - which is hard at that time of year. The kids got to hold a baby alligator at the launch and the souvenirs are reasonably priced. They have a snack stand there in case you get hungry also. We thought the experience was a great value.
