We had a Great time. Weather co-operated, warm & sunny every day. There were no long lines all 3 days we were in the two parks. (20 min, or less) So we saved money by not buying the express pass and were able to go on every ride we wanted.

We went on my actual 25th birthday! I wore a shirt that said "I'm 25 witches!" and got a lot of compliments! I have never felt more welcomed and loved then when at this park - seriously! Everyone was so friendly and excited for my birthday! Universal with the park hopper passes is worth every penny!

"Worth Every Penny"
October, 2018
I know the Express Pass seems expensive but I can't stress enough how worth the money it really is. We didn't wait in line all day for more than 15 minutes. We were able to catch everything in the park in that one day due to the short lines with the express pass. I enjoyed it so much more than the Disney parks and if I had known in advance I would have spent another day at the Islands of Adventure. I hope this helps you with your decisions.

It’s nice to visit once but I don’t think I will come back a 2nd time. Expensive for what you get out of it. Not enough rides & way too many simulators and 3-D rides. They give you headaches & make you nauseous. I liked the Dr. Seuss area. Poseidons fury ride was a disappointment. The 1st half was very boring and a lot of standing around. Hogsmead & the castle was very gorgeous. Kong island ride would’ve been better if you could see on both sides but the way they have it set up it’s too many people. The Harry Potter ride inside the castle it was fun but again simulator it gives you a headache makes you dizzy nauseous so it’s hard to enjoy the ride. The only ride that was fun and really the only roller coaster was the hulk which was fun. For universal being more expensive than Disney. It’s smaller & not as much to see and do, so I would rather experience Disney more than once then universal. Sad. Was hoping for so much more out of it.

Islands of adventure is a great park for teenagers the hulk ride is very good as Wellers the big drop. Teenagers who love thrills will love this park I would highly recommend it for teenagers. The downside is the entertainment for teenagers is average at best. The dr Sues section is great for little kids.

Friendly for all ages. It was fun to see all of younger people dressed as students of Hogwarts with their capes and wands. That being said, they have split the park in two so they can double the admission cost. It is not big enough to justify that.

So many sights to see and all rides amazing, one of my favourite parks during my recent visit. Experienced all rides and spent about 2 days here. Could do better on all day dining plans in ease of use and more choice for snacks, no of meal options.
