"The Florida Aquarium Rocks!"
June, 2016
Buying tickets through Reserve Orlando was quick and easy. The Florida Aquarium has so much to offer for young and not so young. All kinds of sea life, including otters, many types of fish, jellyfish, etc. The Wetlands area included many local birds in a natural habitat. Madagascar lemurs in a tree house setting gave us a bird's eye view. The divers gave an interesting presentation in the big tank, sharks, sea turtles and all. Everyone was mesmerized by the presentation. An outdoor splash area gave little ones a great cooling off spot, while parents could relax in the shade and enjoy the breeze. We are senior citizens, but felt like two kids as we enjoyed this well thought out aquarium.

We drove over to meet up with friends. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The touch tanks were a big hit with the 3 year old. The splash pad was a perfect addition to run off energy. As with all museums, the cafeteria was expensive with fair food.

We love coming here, it's so bright and clean. Get your tickets online and skip the line and save a little money!! Be prepared to spend a few hours, there are many things to see and do. Pay attention and you can even see some of the animals get fed. You meander through different animal habitats while learning their habits and seeing them up close. Walking through the atrium you see birds flying overhead and catch glimpses of their nests. There is a touch pond where you can hang with the sting rays and then move through and touch starfish and other smaller animals. Learn more about Florida habitats and the animals.
