"The Florida Aquarium Rocks!"
June, 2016
Buying tickets through Reserve Orlando was quick and easy. The Florida Aquarium has so much to offer for young and not so young. All kinds of sea life, including otters, many types of fish, jellyfish, etc. The Wetlands area included many local birds in a natural habitat. Madagascar lemurs in a tree house setting gave us a bird's eye view. The divers gave an interesting presentation in the big tank, sharks, sea turtles and all. Everyone was mesmerized by the presentation. An outdoor splash area gave little ones a great cooling off spot, while parents could relax in the shade and enjoy the breeze. We are senior citizens, but felt like two kids as we enjoyed this well thought out aquarium.

First visit to this unimpressive site. Moderately expensive. Very nice soak zone for children. Exbits were average compared to other aquariums that I have visited. Sore inside very comprehensive. Lots of small venues to eat.

Nice aquarium (so much better than Clearwater Aquarium!!). Great exhibits, cool layout, & nice location. Great touch pools for stingrays and sharks (not dangerous for kids), excellent staff that was kind & knowledgeable, and an amazing deal with the Tampa City Pass (tickets for Busch Gardens, MOSI, Florida Aquarium & Lowry Park Zoo for only $99!! That's less than a ticket to just Busch Gardens!) **2018 update: they added an awesome slash pad for kids to play out back (and conveniently a bar for the adults to sit & watch!!). It’s a trolley stop so this year we parked in Ybor City and took the trolley. Very fun!!

The Florida Aquarium is a great place for young and old. While I went with adults and had a wonderful time, there is so much for the young ones to do as well, such as the touch tank and a play area. The Aquarium features fish and wild life found primarily in Florida. The Aquarium is near many great restaurants at Channelside so it easy to make a day of it.
