Description

from SeaWorld Orlando
There's only one place in Orlando, Florida where you can venture below the surface of the ocean, get up close and personal with animals, and experience one-of-a-kind aquatic thrills: SeaWorld and Aquatica.

SeaWorld Orlando takes families below the surface and above their expectations, while immersing guests in the mysteries of the sea from up-close animal experiences and unforgettable performances, to the next generation of thrills. “One Ocean” is an all-new Shamu show, bringing to life SeaWorld’s mission of education and conservation in the most powerful way yet. It’s the essence of what guests love about SeaWorld: thrilling entertainment that educates and inspires them to celebrate, connect and care for the world we share.

Immerse yourself in wonder at SeaWorld® Orlando, where the aquatic world comes alive like no place else. Climb aboard and ride the mighty Manta to find out what it's like to spin, glide, skim and fly like a giant ray. Ride Mako, a hyper coaster known for high speeds up to 73 mph with deep dives and thrills around every turn. Embark on the epic 3D 360 voyage of TurtleTrek®. And hang tight for Kraken Unleashed, virtual reality experience aboard SeaWorld’s famous floorless coaster. Race through underwater canyons and the deep, dark hunting grounds of the legendary sea monster. Riders’ feet dangle as they travel in open-sided seats, riding on a pedestal above the track at highway speeds to heights of more than 150 feet.

Get ready for an epic exploration into an icy world like you’ve never seen before. Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin, is the most immersive mega-attraction ever created by SeaWorld. Set in the majestic grandeur of the icy South Pole, this exhilarating family ride will glide, slide and transport families to the penguins’ surprising world where they’ll brave a blizzard, be dazzled by ice and lights, and then explore a one-of-a-kind penguin colony in an expanse that brings guests above and below the penguin’s icy world. It’s an awe-inspiring penguin attraction as only SeaWorld could create.

Whether coming face-to-face with Shamu, feeding a sea lion or riding “Manta”, “Kraken” or “Journey to Atlantis,” SeaWorld Orlando helps vacation adventures become lifelong memories. Next, you can play side-by-side with the sea at SeaWorld®'s one-of-a-kind water park, Aquatica that blends up-close animal experiences and rides from serene to extreme. Relax amidst lush landscaping and white sand beaches inspired by the South Sea Islands. Or try Aquatica's signature attraction, Dolphin Plunge, which sends riders in clear tubes through a crystal-blue lagoon that is home to black-and-white Commerson's dolphins.

There are over 200 acres of animal encounters awaiting you at SeaWorld!
NOTE: Due to construction in Happy Harbor, several attractions including Shamu Express, Swishie Fishies, Jazzy Jellies, and Seven Seas Railway are currently closed. We look forward to sharing more details about our new addition.

"Awesome Experience"
July, 2018 NEW
My family had a great time! The dolphin and Shamu shows were great! The light show in the evening was amazing. I would recommend getting to the park early to ensure you have enough time to visit each attraction, wait times were a bit lengthy. Overall it was a great experience!

Tip: I would bring a poncho just in case it rains, stores had them for sale but were a bit pricey. The penguin exhibit is best to visit when you are dry. We were under the assumption it was a ride and froze during the exhibit because we were in wet bathing suits.

I was glad that I found Orlando reserve. I was able to save $20 for each ticket off the original price. The site was straight forward and easy to use and they sent and processed my ticket confirmation by email almost immediately. SeaWorld was a great place and well worth the visit. There’s so much to do that I’m sure we missed a few things , so we definitely have plans on going back one day and we’ll buy our ticket through Orlando reserve again.

"Great family get away location"
July, 2018 NEW
Really enjoyed the shows and staff were very friendly. Very upset regarding the VIP rides. I did not purchase one, but I feel that it is another way for the park to get money and it is very unfair. While waiting in line my son made the comment they were herding cattle! Line wait was longer that posted and due to that I missed shows my family was wanting to attend. If you have a family member wanting to do several rides then VIP tickets would be wise

I just love going to SeaWorld ESPECIALLY at Christmas. The park is amazing and so are the shows. I don't care about all of the negative news - they do so much for the animals.

"SeaWorld Orlando: Sea Life, shows, & rides. One of the world's finest theme parks."

This park has lasting power like none other, except for Busch Gardens which also combines great shows, great animal exhibits, special animal tours for an extra charge, beautiful landscape, great children's area, and great theme park rides to offer a well rounded enjoyable experience for people of all ages. I will also add that SeaWorld's food is better than what's offered at other central park theme parks. Another plus is the wait time for attractions are much less. The reason for this I believe is Disney and Universal spends more on publicity and advertisement where as parks like SeaWorld and Busch Gardens are from a zoo mentality and they put more of their funds into caring for animals and unfortunately with SeaWorld, fighting nutty activists. I love this park and through the years it's still a great experience even though they did tone down the Shamu show with taking their trainers out of the water and eliminating some of their most dramatics stunts. I get a season pass and enjoy a great selection of events and concerts during the years which are free with ticket admission or season pass members. I highly recommend this park and suggest checking their website for the best ticket deals, like the 2 day 2 park pas to visit both SeaWorld & Busch Gardens or the 3 park 3 days which you can add their water park Aqautica for just a little more $$! A fare better value than what you can get at either Disney or Universal and in my opinion a much more enjoyable and educational experience. For those within a 3 hours drive I recommend the season pass.
