Description

from Ripley's Believe It or Not! Orlando Odditorium
The Orlando Odditorium appears to be sinking into one of Florida's infamous sinkholes. For over 40 years Robert Ripley, the modern Marco Polo and the real-life Indiana Jones, traveled the world collecting the unbelievable, the inexplicable and the one-of-a-kind. All of it is amazing and much of it extremely amusing. His collection is housed in over 27 museums in 10 countries. Each museum's collection is 90% unique and different. As Ripley's ghost says ..."Come in... look around... and see if you Believe It or Not!"

"A Great Way to Spend a Few Hours!"
April, 2018
My grandson (7-years-old) loves to look through Ripley's Believe It Or Not books. What better way to spend a few hours with him in Orlando, FL? He especially loved the hand-on things - trying to grab the gem was his favorite!!

Tip: All of the stuff is in the books, but it is fun to see it in person. A great way to spend some down-time.

So hard to please a 12 year old and he really enjoyed the visit! His mother and grandmother had a great time also. We were silly at times and yet we really looked at everything. It was especially fun to see a statue of Robert Wadlow, the tallest man, since he is from my home town.

"Not worth the visit"

Thought this would be an interesting place to visit, how wrong was I. The exhibits were uninteresting , a lot of boarded wall mounted games to play, ok if you have children. Certainly not worth the entrance fee of $20 + . Over all waste of money.

We, my hubby and I, came in to check out Ripley’s as locals and had fun. They have so much to see and read. We spent a little over 3 hours inside. Some things we’ve seen in books, but most of it was different. My hubby said he prefers the one in St Augustine, but I was thinking I prefer this one. I guess we’ll have to go back to St Augustine so I can make a Fresh comparison.

"Interesting place."

Interesting place to visit wouldn't be my first stop on a holiday to Florida. But certainly a good choice for a rainy day or a day were you just want to take things a little slower. I think it is a little expensive but if you get one of the discount vouchers that are in shops and restaurants all over area. You can save a little making it a bit more reasonable. I went here with my wife 2 daughters ages 8 and 11 and my inlaws and had an enjoyable couple of hours out of the heat. Maybe we were lucky but I didn't see any broken interactive items.

"Great price, better if you are over 55 or have an AAA card"

Ripley's is a quirky and interesting break from the outdoors and lines everywhere else. The price is good and the staff was friendly. The exhibits are full of weird facts and puzzles that adults and teenagers enjoy.

"What a waste of money and time"

We came from an outlet store in the neighbourhood, and Ripley’s was on my todo list,so we went in the afternoon. Well that was a waste of time and money...the exibit felt really outdated, not interesting, and sometimes it felt like a history exhibition more than a rarity exhibition There’s also a room with creations from someone that make things so small it cant be seen without a microscope, so you have to look trough different scopes to see the creations, but many are just broken. In about half an hour we were outside again...
