How could you travel to Orlando without visiting the iconic Gatorland? Although we initially intended to go for a just few hours, we ended up spending the entire day - there's so much to see and do! Every single staff member we met was helpful, knowledgable, and over-the-top friendly. The trainers were all entertaining, and funny....Even when delivering their silly puns. Make sure you catch the free shows throughout the day. Prices are also very reasonable - a nice change of pace after the 'big parks' bleed you dry!

We did the Night Shine Experience on 2/13 with Peter. He was an AWESOME guide giving a lot of fun facts about the animals! We held a few reptiles, some baby alligators and then fed the big ones over at the breeding marsh. They are HUGE! you never really realize their size until they are up close. I love this tour and I love getting a different perspective on these animals. Visit Gatorland during the day too so that you can see the shows!!!

"Great day! Worth it!"

We spent an afternoon here and enjoyed it very much. The park is quite big, very well maintained and tidy. We saw all 3 shows and thought they were all good. They use a lot of humour in the shows and throughout the park on their signs. There are lots of great photo ops, including 2 fun wood cutout gator posters you can stand behind. We rode the little train for 2$ and that was fun too. We fed some gators with a fishing pole for an extra 5$ and that was cool. I’d never seen albino gators before so that was cool. We ate gator nuggets at Pearls restaurant, which were tasty. All the non-gator animals in the park came to them through donations and park closures, so they have given homes to many animals unfit for release. Tip: There is an AAA or CAA discount on admission, so ask for that if you are a member.

This place is awesome. There are so many gators! It is fascinating and offers interesting shows. There are opportunities for folks [including children] to actually sit on an alligator [supervised, of course]. There is a spectacular enclosed area with birds that fly about and land on you. Very neat. You can feed alligators with a fishing pole. There is a neat show with Hillbillies that engage the alligators with food, getting them to jump out of water.
