We decided to go to Gatorland during one of our days off from the Disney Parks while on our week long vacation. I am so glad we stumbled upon this place! We saw lots of gators up close! We fed them, enjoyed three shows, and paid a little extra to hold and touch a few (with mouths taped of course). We also enjoyed the bird room where my kids were able to feed and hold parakeets. There was also a petting zoo, but we missed that. We also didn't walk around through the elevated areas and pathways much, but that would have been really cool. Our biggest mistake was planning a half day instead of a full day there! Most of the walkways are covered from the rain (which was great). The park was not too crowded (unlike the craziness of other local attractions). The staff was really great. I rated Gatorland excellent because it is everything you would expect for this type of attraction and more.

"I enjoyed it as much as our 6 year old grandson"

Our daughter, her husband and my grandchildren were down for a visit. One of the days we decided to go to Gatorland. What a great place, it is very affordable and our grandson was able to be hands on with many of the animals. I was nicely paced with time in between the various shows, they made it so you could interact with animals and they had humor at all of the shows, We really enjoyed the nature walks, especially the one around the lake at the bird sanctuary. I purchased a lot of the hot dogs so my grandson could feed the gators and the birds. There are extra things that you could do for a slight amount of money but it is your option. I think that the 6 of us spent slightly more at Gatorland than it costs for 1 ticket at the big parks. They do a great job with the animals and the they protect the environment with their boardwalks through the swamp. I wish we had gone the extra and bought the annual pass, I would love to go again.

We went to Gatorland and spent a wonderful day. Lots to see and plenty of activities. We did the Adventure Hour and got up close and personal with the alligators. We were able to feed them and get our picture taken with them. We will definitely be back.

Visited for the day and wasn't expecting much - how wrong was I! This place is great thousands of animals to see. Lots of different shows and evening a gator eating show.....I didn't know gator could jump that High nor that there's white ones. Lots to see and do even a playback and train ride. I found dead it cheaper to get out tickets in the UK from Orlando Attractions as it was more than twice the price on the door.
