I was to a tour from Orlando to Miami and Everglade. It was one of the most enjoyable tour that I've ever had. The driver Mike was very professional and very knowledgeable in different topics. He was Able to discuss about the areas that we visited and also about fishing, geography, politics, constructions, cars, just to mention a few. He said a couple of jokes that made the trip even more pleasant. If anybody wants to visit the south of Florida and not to be stressed about driving or parking, then I would recommend a tour with Gray Line. And if you are lucky you can have Mike as driver and guide. it is worthing every penny.

"Hilarious, For all the wrong reasons "Why are you getting off the bus?!""

My goodness, where do I start? Well, with the fact that Kennedy Space Centre is an absolute dream, I think I cried at least 7 times and I'm not ashamed to admit that. I'd go again in an absolute heartbeart. ... with Grayline tho? Probably not, however they did give us a great deal of joy from their, lets just say, slightly backwards customer service. I think it's safe to say that our tour with Grayline was the Fawlty Towers of tours, our guide was truly, truly terrible but thought they were AMAZING. Luckily for them, these are some of my favourite kinds of people in the world so I was more than happy to experience the shenanigans and just giggle at the ineptitude of it all. Firstly, we were picked up from our hotel in a minibus, which didn't bother me in the slightest. However we were then informed that the reason why the driver wasn't in uniform was because they were actually from the office and they were just helping out pick people up because they were short on staff .... OK, so a little bit weird but nothing major. So from the minibus we were then dropped in a carpark in the buttend of nowhere (seriously, I have no idea where we were. But it's OK, because apparently a steak place in wherever-the-hell-we-were is really good) to where a massive double decker coach was sat. Fantastic, lets get on the coach and go to Kennedy, right? NOPE. Instead we were made to stand outside the coach for at least 10 minutes ("shall we get off the road so we don't get hit by cars") all the while our new tour guide (the one on the coach, not the office person driving the minibus) was stood outside the coach, doing, god knows what, scratching their butt? Oh no, that's right, yelling at people who were getting off the coach to see what the hell was going on. Every time someone came off the bus to ask them what on earth was going on and why they weren't on their way to Kennedy it was greeted with a shrill "WHY ARE YOU GETTING OF THE BUS?!" which has subsequently become mine and my friends catchphrase of our entire 2 week Orlando trip. It was like a really inept sheepdog trying to herd a bunch of confussed cats into a box. Truly the 8th wonder of the world. I was already laughing and knowing I was going to enjoy this trip for all the wrong reasons. FINALLY we got on the bus after 15 minutes of our tour guide yelling at people and getting really annoyed at ... well, everything in life, before they finally turned their attention to us and go "what are you doing standing there?" "..... ummmm, we're going to Kennedy?" "... Kennedy? Well get on the bus then!" as if it was our fault after the other person told us to wait by the minibus, oh, also not to mention that THAT driver was stood next to the tour guide the whole time having a chinwag. Anyway! Finally we're on our way to Kennedy! We get handed a map of the space centre ("ONE EACH! I'm running low on these") and get various pieces of information about some of the attractions we'd see ("If you like plants, do that 4D film .... although, why bother") and we were off and trucking to the centre. Various other hilarious things happened on that journey, but I fear if I wrote all those down as well this review would become "War and Peace" length. Just, let it be known that we were giggling all the way to Kennedy ... when I'm not entirely sure we should have been. Oh and that toilet door should really be fixed. Mainly just so we don't have to hear our guide yell down the bus to us to "OH WOULD YOU SLAM THAR DOOR SHUT?! It's been broken for weeks". Another side note I would like to add is that our driver was an absolute trooper. They were getting yelled at left right and centre by our guide for the duration of the journey, but they just kept on doing what they were doing. Good on you lovely driver! Now Kennedy itself is beyond incredible, honestly the absolute highlight of our 2 week trip (and I am a MASSIVE Disney nerd) and I would 100% go again in a heartbeat. Although, for all our guides talk of "I always remember who I've got in my group, always" when we were done with our introduction from an astronaut (which I loved) our guide was then asked how many people they had in their group before we boarded the bus to the Saturn V/Apollo centre. Well, I've never seen guess-timations quite like it "urrrrr, 33. No, 37. 35? Around there... maybe?" Also, I have a feeling that they left someone behind at Kennedy, I can't be sure, but we definitely didn't see them on the bus on the way home again. Oops? After a long and incredible day ay Kennedy, I'd forgotten all about the weird WEIRD bus ride in, until we had to go back onto it to go to the airboat ride at Twister airboat rides. Now, do me a favour ... don't book an airboat ride. It was fine and actually a lovely way to end a day (if a bit sketchy and in the middle of nowhere in a bathtub with a fan on the back of it) but your guide will leave you there for what seems like an eternity and then turn up half a hour late with no explanation and after you have been absolutely eaten alive by mosquitos (I still have the 22 bite marks on my ankles over 2 weeks later) with just a "did you have fun?!" ..... I think so? But I'm now itchy and confused. Also, turns out the TV didn't work on the bus. Not a problem at all for us as we just wanted to essentially have a bit of a kip at the back of the bus on the way back to the drop off point after a long day of space and getting eaten alive in a pond. But nope, apparently if technology doesn't work ... yell at it really loudly and hit it. Then when it still doesn't work (can't imagine why) ... lather, rinse, repeat. Oh, and then yell at the driver, like it's their fault. I wish I could go into detail about all the hilarious weirdness that happened on that tour but, honestly, it's getting dark here and I started writing this review when it was light. Essentially, I LOVED this day of our holiday so much. Mainly because the space centre is such an awe-inspiring, emotional place .... but also because we had a value added, terrible (but thought they were amazing) guide. They left us laughing all the way through dinner when we got back to our hotel and even upon arriving home. We still scream "why are you getting off the bus!" to each other on a daily basis. So, thank you Grayline, I truly had a lovely time and I mean that from the bottom of my weird, backwardly humoured heart <3

They pick us up from the hotel Comfort Suites on Major Blvd. The driver was nice. He likes to joke. Knew the area well. He made sure that everyone was back on bus. That made our day to The Kennedy Space Center great.

What a great experience from being picked up on time at a local hotel to being dropped of at our resort. Don J. our tour driver was very knowledge able and also a very safe driver. He is also the first driver that I have ever met that walked through Wild Florida with us. He knew some of the animals and what a pleasure to be with. When I go back I will ask for him again.
