"A Day in St. Augustine"

The tour I book through Viator to St. Augustine was via Gray Line and it was a very comfortable van, with a nice, helpful driver. I don't remember his name, but he let us know about how long things would take on the ride, and when he would be leaving. I met some nice guys from Oxford, England, and some women who had been visiting Orlando on vacation. The trip began in Orlando, south of where I live in that area. I had never been to St. Augustine, and being new to the area, I have not made close friends. I didn't want to drive alone for two hours just to walk around St. Augustine, so it was really relaxing and a nice day out. We did not have a group tour, but we could sign up for either the hop-on-hop-off tram or a boat ride on a lake. The weather was threatening, so I took the tram through the city, and, if I had not been so tired (had to get up at 5 a.m. to meet the bus at 7 a.m. in downtown Orlando), I would have done more walking around. It could have also been the wine tasting at San Sebastian winery, and the chocolate candy after that at Whetstone Chocolatiers. A great, inexpensive meal of tacos at Burrito Works Taco Shop got me in out of a torrential downpour, but it was a really lucky break having some of the best Mexican food I've found in Florida.
