Our day at Discovery Cove was amazing! The food was great, all the snacks and drinks you could want, a relaxing environment and the best snorkeling experience I have ever had (Hawaii included!) I wish we could have spent the whole week there. A 14 day Sea World pass was included with our tickets which just sweetened the deal!! I wish I could give it 6 stars!!

"Best experience EVER!!"
June, 2016
Our children were 6&8 at the time we went. We did the dolphin swim and they loved it!! The trainers were AMAZING and spent time answering the questions our 6 y/o had ( wants to be a vet / dolphin trainer, why we did this)! It totally made her day!! Having it all inclusive was awesome! As we went from area to area we could stop at the cabanas and get snacks and drinks whenever we wanted! Breakfast and lunch were also very good! The reef water was freezing (there during a tropical storm) so we only made it to our knees, but touched the rays and fish we saw! ALL the lifeguards were very friendly and genuinely seemed to like their jobs, even the ones swimming through the lazy river scooping leaves out! This is an experience you simply must do at least once!

Tip: They operate rain or shine! The lazy river does get pretty deep at points if you have little ones or weaker swimmers!

My daughter and wife Swann with the dolphins at at Discovery cove, this was the highlight of their holiday. They also went in the pool snorkelling and in a pool of stingrays and other fish. On arriving we were treated very well by friendly staff. We enjoyed the inclusive food which you get with park entrances. This started with breakfast, followed by snacks and drinks throughout the day and lunch. I neither swam like them, but enjoyed relaxing on the hammocks. We’ll worth a visit

Recently visited following TripAdvisor's suggestion. Venue: Super clean, large parking area and it is located right across SeaWorld so if you are visiting the parks, you won't have problems finding Discovery Cove. Restaurant: there are 2 scheduled services ( breakfast and lunch) at the main restaurant, and various snack bars around the swimming areas. Swimming areas: 3 main areas, upon entering you will see one pool to the left which is fresh water, and to the right you will find the salt water pools for the dolphins and to the far right you will find the salt water pool with all the fish. Discovery Cove provides customers with everything needed, including sunscreen. You basically only need to bring your swimsuit and sandals. Great installations, food and drinks ( some alcoholic ones) were pretty good, customer service was friendly and attentive. An extra must be paid at the entrance for some alcoholic beverages not included in the main menu. Be sure to check their website often, since you may come across very nice seasonal offers. I recommend showing up early, as food lines could fill up fast and if you are doing the dolphin swim, you could easily find yourself running out of time to grab a bite. Dolphin swim is very fun to do, specially if you are visiting with kids (must be 6 or older), trainers are friendly, love their dolphins and like to talk about them and give information on them. The swim is organized in groups, it will take around 1 hour with the pre swim information video you have to see before going into the water. You'll get to interact with them and will be asked if you want a deep swim or a shallow swim (difference is on the deep swim you will have to do a short swim away from the "shore" and be able to float without assistance for around 5 minutes unassisted {don't worry, a trainer will be there next to you} before the dolphin swims up to you and hauls you back to the shallow area). Hope you enjoy your visit.

Discovery Cove was a highlight of our Disney week. We enjoyed swimming in the Coral Reef pool and snorkeling to look at all the beautiful fish. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Swimming with a full wet suit was a challenge, and I will definitely use the vest choice if we get to return another time.

Love Discovery cove, took our family from England here and everyone absolutely loved it. All food and beverage is included in price of admission!! The dolphin experience is a must do. They also have a reef set up where you can snorkel with sting rays and different types of fish. You can then relax in their relaxing lazy river. We all agreed we would prefer to pay a little more to go to Discovery Cove than to ever go to a water park.

You must be 15 years old to enter the park without parental supervision. Parent or Legal Guardian must sign "Authorization to Treat" forms before allowing park entry.

What should I wear to the park on the day of my program?

What is the parks maximum occupancy?
The park restricts attendance to about 1,300 guests per day and so is able to provide a more intimate, resort-like experience.

What do I need to bring with me to Discovery Cove?

Guests may use their own masks and snorkels if they prefer, but may not bring any other diving or swimming equipment into the park. Since meals, snacks and drinks are provided with admission to Discovery Cove, no other food, beverages or coolers are permitted.
