"Our Favorite Orlando Park by far!!!!"
July, 2016
Our day at Discovery Cove was amazing! The food was great, all the snacks and drinks you could want, a relaxing environment and the best snorkeling experience I have ever had (Hawaii included!) I wish we could have spent the whole week there. A 14 day Sea World pass was included with our tickets which just sweetened the deal!! I wish I could give it 6 stars!!

"Best experience EVER!!"
June, 2016
Our children were 6&8 at the time we went. We did the dolphin swim and they loved it!! The trainers were AMAZING and spent time answering the questions our 6 y/o had ( wants to be a vet / dolphin trainer, why we did this)! It totally made her day!! Having it all inclusive was awesome! As we went from area to area we could stop at the cabanas and get snacks and drinks whenever we wanted! Breakfast and lunch were also very good! The reef water was freezing (there during a tropical storm) so we only made it to our knees, but touched the rays and fish we saw! ALL the lifeguards were very friendly and genuinely seemed to like their jobs, even the ones swimming through the lazy river scooping leaves out! This is an experience you simply must do at least once!

Tip: They operate rain or shine! The lazy river does get pretty deep at points if you have little ones or weaker swimmers!

Let me start off by saying that I was very skeptical paying over $350 for two people which just included the “basic” package. But after recommendation from a coworker I jumped the gun. I did not pay for any “extras,” like the dolphin or shark things. Just the basic, wanting to explore what the park had to offer. And I was not disappointed in ANY way. From the very beginning, customer service from checking in and throughout the park was AMAZING. Staff was genuinely happy to assist and I was completely in awe with how the workers were always eager to answer any questions and with a smile. I was asked to complete a survey at the end of my day trip but decline (regret it now because I had nothing but nice things to say). There are two pools of water, the lazy river (which has noodles for you to use, no donut floaties - which I’m used to because I’m from Texas) and the reef. The reef is COLD. Had to wear a wetsuit (provided) in 82 degree weather. There are so many fish and giant stingrays that just swim all around. They are so docile! Just lazyingly swimming. Bathrooms: I was totally expecting a outdoor, not so great bathroom and shower. Boy was I surprised. The showers and bathrooms are indoors, a/c and CLEAN. Towels, Shampoo, soap and conditioner provided. They even have plastic bags to keep your dirty clothes. They think of everything! Food: I am a foodie. And I KNOW food. Definitely was expecting cold sandwiches and limp salads and I was wrong. Breakfast was eggs, BACON, French toast, fruit, cereal, milk, coffee, yogurt, pastries, and roasted potatoes. Lunch was divine. Your typical burgers, hot dogs, nuggets, but also included a pineapple chicken dish, tilapia fillets, steamed veggies, house or Caesar salads and DESSERT. Do yourself a solid and get the strawberry shortcake. And get like 3 of them because I came back for second lunch (hello, I’m a foodie) and they were out. Snacks were provided throughout the day, pretzels, chips, goldfish, 4 different flavors of ICEE and alcoholic drinks included beer, wine and pina coladas. Did I mention it was all inclusive? Everything I listed came with your admittance into the park! No paying extra!! All in all, my experience was amazing. And I would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Orlando. I’m even trying to convince my parents to go when we visit again in the summer.

"This Park is not for me"

My kids had a great time but honestly it was a waste of a day for me. The park was poorly signed, easy to get lost or turned around. Caesar salad had no dressing, the special sunscreen was like putting on peanut butter, and hard to wash off. Pictures cost a ton. Water was cold, wet suits uncomfortable. Had to have a life vest on to even go into knee deep water???? Anyhows, Seaworld has a unique vision with what it is trying to accomplish with Dolphin Cove, the staff was great, towels accessible, refreshments everywhere. The biggest thing was my kids loved it. As for me, I will not be back to Dolphin Cove. My wife will be flying solo if the family goes back because I will be relaxing in the hot tub.....

"Very over priced for a 15 second dolphin swim, and the food is very poor - Very Disappointing"

We have looked forward to our visit as we have been to orlando several times, and not been. it takes 20 mins to check in, then you are offered a very poor breakfast on plastic plates and plastic cutlery. You then get changed in the toilets / changing area into a wet suit, and then finally you can explore the cove. it is wonderful to swim with the fish, and the stingrays - this is a highlight. the dolphin siwm - the highlight - your in groups of around 10 and you get to stroke the dolphin, and kiss the dolphin, if your quick, then you get a 5 second swim on a dolphin which is great - the trainer we had simply went through his routine, then you are offered for $200 a momento of the day... what a rip off, you cant take photos as you can see from the front so you are forced to buy the over priced photos. The staff are lovely and very helpful, and always polite. Lunch was again very poor and again cheap plastic plates - unacceptable. The snacks are great, and if you want to spend the day eating cheap chips and beer then go for it. i would not recommend this for under 6 as they cant swim with the dolphin In conclusion: Its very over priced but its unique and i guess thats why its successful. Sorry but with the poor food and the very short Dolphin swim and then the over priced Dolphin swim i would look at other options.

Yes it is a bit pricey whether you swim with the dolphins or not. Food is included, which was lovely. Gorgeous white sand beach and you can watch others swim with dolphins. The underwater helmet experience was worth the $70 each. My daughter (10) loved it.

The wheelchairs are not self-maneuverable and guests will need assistance operating them. Wheelchairs can be reserved by calling the park in advance.

Are pets allowed?
Only service animals are allowed.
