Fun for the kids and very educational. Dinosaurs are life-size, which makes it very engaging and really impressed my nephew. The museum provides a lot of information that feeds a child’s curiosity about all things dinosaurs.

Description

from Dinosaur World Florida
Dinosaur World is Central Florida's only attraction dedicated to the giants of years past. The 20-acre theme park is conveniently located between Tampa and Orlando on Interstate 4 and a must see for families exploring the area. Spend your visit walking amongst some of the most feared predators ever to walk on the planet before heading off to explore the outdoor shows and entertainment including the Dino Disguise Show, Excavation Cave Experience, and the all-new Triviasaurus Rex Game Show.

Practice your skills as a paleontologist at the area’s largest Fossil Dig before you head over to the Boneyard Excavation to try your hand at uncovering a prehistoric skeleton sure to add a little roar to your day. And don’t miss Dino Gems Mining Operation where everyone uncovers a keepsake to treasure. The park also features a colossal skeletal playground for kids that’s large enough to contain even the loudest pitter-patter of little dinosaur feet.

Buying through Reserve direct Orlando was an amazing experience. The website was very easy to use and my tickets were available immediately. I also saved money by pushing on line instead of the park.

Had a fantastic time. My daughter-in-law and I learned as much or more as the 7 year old with us. Hot as most of it is outside, but enough shade to keep it from being too. We must have been there the same day as Christina G because it was 90 degrees the day we were there also.

Tip: There is drinking water available along the trails, but the nice thing is that you can bring your own food and drinks in to the park

Unfortunately it poured down with rain the day we went, we had no other choice than to make the most of it. I could see on a nice day it would have been great for the kids and we would have spent a lot more time there but Mother Nature decided it was not to be that day.

"DINO/WINO WORLD"
April, 2015
Lived in Florida 30 years and had never been to Dinosaur World. Made it a family trip when the grandkids were in town. Surprising fun. Very interactive and educational park. Even jumps several million years to the ice age with a mastodon exhibit. Gift shop houses many science-type toys and projects. Bring your own food and drink and save money. Lots of shaded picnic tables and huge, adjacent playground. After a few hours at the park continue 1 mile at the same exit to a local winery (Keel and Curley) for a wine tasting. They too have a playground and covered seating where you can eat the last of those PB&J sammys. A fun day for all ages without the crowds and long lines.

"This place is fun!"

We took our grandsons ages 5 and 7 here this summer and they loved it! We were impressed with all the life-sized Dinosaurs around the property to view and the ones that actually moved! The boys loved the fossil find in the sand and they were especially excited to be able to pick 3 to take home with them. Another area had a large dinosaur under sand they had to find by brushing sand to find the whole skeleton. They also enjoyed shaking for gems in the water trough. That one cost extra but it was worth it. We loved that we could take a picnic lunch to eat to get out of the sun for awhile. All in all, a great place to have fun and learn about dinosaurs.

"Almost real and very educational for kids"

In Florida you can go to the Disney Parc’s or crocodile watching, but you also can do as a alternative Dinosaur World. Lots of parking space and easy access. When using the coupon, from tourist magazine or download from the site you get 2 dollars of per person. The showed dinosaurs look real and with the trees around it’s if you are in the film set of Jurassic world. For kids they have an show where kids can haunt for fossils and they are allowed to keep some. Than there is an interactive show with real paleontologist who tells about t-Rex founding in the US. The play area is fun for kids to lose some energy. At the end they have an minerals search river you pay 6 dollar extra and you can take all the minerals you find back home. The drive from Orlando is 52min but more than worth.

"Great For Smaller Children"

My husband and I took our 3 year old to Dinosaur World for a trip during summer vacation. He is obsessed with everything dinosaur so this park was absolutely perfect! It was clean and spacious and had nice attractions. We seen some pretty neat things, gained some education about dinosaurs, and did a fossil dig. There is a gift store, picnic bench areas for breaks and lunch, and vending machines. Only downside was there was no place to order food at the park but we did bring snacks and there were restaurants close by. Overall a great trip and good for younger ones.
