Fun for the kids and very educational. Dinosaurs are life-size, which makes it very engaging and really impressed my nephew. The museum provides a lot of information that feeds a child’s curiosity about all things dinosaurs.

Description

from Dinosaur World Florida
Dinosaur World is Central Florida's only attraction dedicated to the giants of years past. The 20-acre theme park is conveniently located between Tampa and Orlando on Interstate 4 and a must see for families exploring the area. Spend your visit walking amongst some of the most feared predators ever to walk on the planet before heading off to explore the outdoor shows and entertainment including the Dino Disguise Show, Excavation Cave Experience, and the all-new Triviasaurus Rex Game Show.

Practice your skills as a paleontologist at the area’s largest Fossil Dig before you head over to the Boneyard Excavation to try your hand at uncovering a prehistoric skeleton sure to add a little roar to your day. And don’t miss Dino Gems Mining Operation where everyone uncovers a keepsake to treasure. The park also features a colossal skeletal playground for kids that’s large enough to contain even the loudest pitter-patter of little dinosaur feet.

"Great place plus a discount through Reserve Direct"
February, 2018 NEW
On our way from Orlando to Tampa my son saw the huge T rex from the road and shouted that he want to go there and so we did. I was checking on line for information/tickets and was very happy to find a discounted rate through the Reserve direct website. The tickets were available and accepted immediately.
The park was a lot of fun for my dinosaur lover kids! they enjoyed the fossil digging the most and were so happy to be able to keep three of them.

Buying through Reserve direct Orlando was an amazing experience. The website was very easy to use and my tickets were available immediately. I also saved money by pushing on line instead of the park.

Had a fantastic time. My daughter-in-law and I learned as much or more as the 7 year old with us. Hot as most of it is outside, but enough shade to keep it from being too. We must have been there the same day as Christina G because it was 90 degrees the day we were there also.

Tip: There is drinking water available along the trails, but the nice thing is that you can bring your own food and drinks in to the park

Unfortunately it poured down with rain the day we went, we had no other choice than to make the most of it. I could see on a nice day it would have been great for the kids and we would have spent a lot more time there but Mother Nature decided it was not to be that day.

Visited dinosaur world with my 4 year old daughter and 6 year old son. They really had fun, particularly the fossil dig and sifting for gem stones. The park is very well maintained. It’s defiantly geared to small kids. Overall a great time.

"Nice Day for our Family"

We finally stopped after driving back and forth many times from DeLand to Tampa. Walking up, made me feel I was in and episode of Jurrasiac Park if it had opened and...and well you know the rest. This theme park is very clean and the dinosaurs look great. there are plenty of things to do for kids and great family time. The staff was very pleasant and it had plenty of room for birthdays. Probably the only thing I could say, is maybe clean some of the fallen moss off the dinosaurs and twigs. Otherwise, we had a fun day and it is an amazing place to spend the day with children.

"Fun for kids!"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

Yes, it’s a kids location. Not geared towards adults in any way. However an adult who likes kids themed entertainment may enjoy it. It’s clean, lots of life sized fiberglass sculptures of moderate airbrushed craftsmanship. It’s well maintained and very friendly. Be sure and catch the tour show in the back of the park. Dog friendly.
