    "Orlando Crayola Experience"
    June, 2016
My 7 year old granddaughter said this was the "best day of my life". This was a fun experience for the children and adults. We went with friends who live in Orlando and they were so impressed that they bought seasons tickets. Expect to come early and spend lots of time there. there is a small playground besides all of the artsy things to do. For visitors it is a great way to spend a rainy day or to spend time out of the sun and heat.

This was a great place for the kids, but it was crowded as hell, which meant the lines for some of the attractions had horrific lines. Kids had a great time, but were bored after a while (so was I). The crayons named after you and favors that they take home were great though.

This is the perfect break from Disney. If you have a military ID, everyone will be discounted. There are tons of activities! My 1 and 3 year old loved the play areas, spin art, crayon maker and model magic. We had tons of tokens for crayons and clay. The whole place is done well. Large gift shop.

This was perfect for my 4 year old. He loved making a special crayon paper and the model magic with his tokens. Also included but no token needed was melting a crayon into another shape, spinart with 2 crayons and painting with melted crayons! The bth shows were fun and entertaining and getting a crayon at the end of the how to make crayons was cool too! My son loved it! It has so many little activities like the projector on the floor and the iPad challenges, we never even got to do the interactive picture part.

    "It's a brand-name expensive kids' museum"

I loved my Crayola crayons when I was a kid, and my children love coloring with crayons, too. But behind the Crayola brand is a children's museum. Just remember that before you go. Placing Wrap It Up (as kiosk in which you choose a color, give it a personalized name, and get a custom labeled Crayola crayon) is genius. There is palpable wow-factor generated for both adults and children. And the Crayola Factory (a mixed-media, partially live show about how crayons are made) should be done early. It's fun. And there are lots of places where my family had fun together. We worked together on a clay sculpture, and we really enjoyed seeing our art come to digital life at Art Alive and Color Magic. Making multicolored spun discs with melted crayons at Drip Art was also fun. But there were other things that weren't as successful, and those happen in the back half of the museum. The You Design station sometimes skipped kids – one of my children submitted four different pictures before one was displayed. It was frustrating. The tablet-based mystery-solving exhibit (which is now not showing up on the website) had several stations that were not working properly. And Melt and Mold... It was a disaster. The employees were clearly frustrated with the long lines, lack of sufficient staff, and poorly maintained machines. There is lots of fun to have here. And the gift shop is impressive. But just be aware of what you are getting into.

Great experience for all ages and especially those who grew up spending lots of time with Crayola crayons! There is a wide range of hands-on activities. Participants may select to do all activities or just the ones that peak his or her interests. Each activity uses a Crayola product for creating a masterpiece. There is no limit on how many activities one can participate in or the amount of time one can spent at the Experience. The two story indoor climbing playground provides children an opportunity to burn bit of energy, if needed! Personally, I like painting with the melted crayons. What memories the scent of those crayons brought back from cherished childhood times. The price is beyond reasonable and by ordering on line one can save a few more dollars per admission. Parking is easy and close. Best of all, you mat take all of your creative masterpieces home!
