    "Orlando Crayola Experience"
    June, 2016
My 7 year old granddaughter said this was the "best day of my life". This was a fun experience for the children and adults. We went with friends who live in Orlando and they were so impressed that they bought seasons tickets. Expect to come early and spend lots of time there. there is a small playground besides all of the artsy things to do. For visitors it is a great way to spend a rainy day or to spend time out of the sun and heat.

My 10 year old really enjoyed herself, staff at ticket counter were pretty useless but staff inside were better but they were understaffed. A good 3-4 hours of fun for the kids.

We visited for a few hours before our flight home and it was great for the 7 year old and 4 year old in our group. Getting to print your own crayon labels was the highlight for everyone. It wasn't terribly interesting for the adults, but the kids had a great time at all of the stations, especially the indoor play area and the melted crayon activities. There were a lot of kids running around unsupervised, so it got a bit hectic in some areas. However, most of the play areas have only one entrance/exit, which makes watching your own kids a bit less stressful. I wouldn't have chosen to come here, but the kids had fun and burned off some energy before heading to the airport, so it was a win for all of us.

If I lived nearby I would probably invest in the annual pass. The only downfall for me was the Mall it was located in was a bit hectic, but overall this was a great activity for us and our toddler. We loved making and naming our own crayons, making our own coloring book pages starring ourselves as well as splash painting with wax. Just keep in mind the wax should be removed from clothing asap. We made the mistake of not doing so and now some of our clothing is stained with wax. Hey, it adds character. For older kids there are a lot of interactive coloring activities they will enjoy. You can really use this space for many purposes and experience a few different creative mediums. It looks like they offer birthday parties. Bathrooms were clean and very kid friendly.

Went into the shop to pick up some gifts for family members back home. LOVELY lady on the till, an older lady who was in need of a frame for extra support. Could not speak any more highly of a lovely lady. Who did her absolute best to be personal with the customers, and be warm and friendly. However, as the queue for the tills grew ever longer, there was an obvious look of panic on her face. 2 younger girls arrived, swanned around behind her, did nothing at all, didn't ask if she needed help, took no notice of the ever growing queue, and wandered off. After a VERY long period of time, a third assistant finally jumped on to assist, but no smiles, no hellos. Just gave an air of complete boredom! Come on Crayola! Supposed to be a place of fun an frolicks! Not leaving an older lady to struggle on her own!
