    "Orlando Crayola Experience"
    June, 2016
My 7 year old granddaughter said this was the "best day of my life". This was a fun experience for the children and adults. We went with friends who live in Orlando and they were so impressed that they bought seasons tickets. Expect to come early and spend lots of time there. there is a small playground besides all of the artsy things to do. For visitors it is a great way to spend a rainy day or to spend time out of the sun and heat.

We brought our 13 year old daughter for her birthday and we all just loved it! We spent 4 1/2 hours and could've easily spent a couple more! It was so much fun! It is laid out so well and the workers to a great job to keep things moving. The projects are so much fun. You come away with a lot of cool stuff! Making and naming your own crayons is super cool! They give you two tokens with admission. You use tokens two make your own crayons, to use molding magic clay, to buy a marker, or to buy a 4 pack of crayons. If you need more tokens they are only 4 tokens for a dollar! Every activity is fun and creative! There is something for all ages. Great snack bar, cafe, and gift shop. It is located at the Florida mall and parking is free. TIP- start up stairs at the back and work towards the front.

    "Expensive, unorganized, unfriendly employees"

Visited on our vacation and won't be returning. The majority of the employees were rude to both adults and kids nor did they run any of their departments well. Getting into experience wasn't cheap especially considering you don't get much out of it. A couple things are fun, like wrapping & naming your own crayon or the show that briefly discusses Crayola's history and quickly shows how they make crayons but most everything else is just coloring stations. Why would anyone want to pay $80 for 4 people just to get inside and color with supplies that are beaten and battered on something nobody cares about? You're better off watching a Crayola documentary and going on a Crayola shopping spree at your local grocery store.

    "Fun, unique experience!"

We visited Crayola with our three children ages 8, 6 and 2. All of them had a great time and enjoyed the variety of things there are to do. They offer different discounts (first responder, military, homeschool, teachers etc). Not sure I would pay full price for this but it's definitely a fun way to spend time and it was not crowded or overly loud (Monday 4:30-6:30) We could have easily spent 3 hours but we were starving and didn't want to eat the food they had in the cafe. There is plenty of seating for adults, but we joined in on many of the activities. The only negative is that the employees all seemed completely miserable and seemingly tried their hardest not to speak or acknowledge guests!

"Very good fun place BUT you need to read this"

We had the best Experience here and one that was not so pleasant!!! This normally would have received a 5 star review BUT 3 of my grandchildren were burnt pretty bad making the wax hands! The girl working with the kids seemed unaware of the shallow amount of wax in the HOT metal container and held their hands down in the wax and apparently didn't realize or wasn't trained right and she was burning their fingers on the bottom of the hot metal (pics below). One of my granddaughters tried 3 times and we had no idea she was getting her fingers burnt. She was actually crying. The boys tougher it out because they wanted one but we had no idea what was going on at the time! The youngest didn't burn cause her hand was little! I FINALLY SAID do you need more wax in there or something because I think something is wrong and you better ask a manager! Well the manager never showed up and I said you really need to do something about this! BUT BESIDES THIS the place was almost vacant cause we went the day after Labor Day! No lines at all! And we bought the seasonal pass because it was buy one get one free so it saved us lots of money even though we lived out of town! Plus then we got 20 percent off everything! The lady at the counter was great too! Amy who worked there was wonderful in helping us when we lost a token or needed help! And other workers were pleasant and helpful! We spent almost 5 hours there! All in all I highly recommend this place! But be very very careful on the hand wax machine!!!!!
