It is a lot of fun. Make sure you put on your walking shoes. There is a lot to see an do. If you have kids they do have a water ride. I would not suggest this for little ones. We spent most of the day there. Loved the birds and animals. They do put on shows using animals and birds. It was very entertaining.
Attended April 30thand enjoyed every minute of it.. From the congo rapid ride which happened to be my favorite because i got soaked to cheetah and the montu.. The dining deals were budget efficient.. I dislike the fast passes having limitations on some of the rixes for $30. 99 but we paid it and got on all the rides and stayed from 1 to 7pm closing & got the most beautiful pictures of the animals. I will be back though.. I love Busch Gardens..
My husband and I spent an enjoyable day at Busch. The park has a nice variety of shows, animals, rides, food, and shops. We are not coaster riders, but we enjoyed seeing the variety of animals and walking through their beautiful grounds. We did think that the parking fee was a bit much though--$18, especially since you pay a good price to enter the park. We wouldn't go back to this park very often though since we are not ones to enjoy the rides.
The landscaping and animals were definitely awesome among all the rides. Several of the rides had technical issues while we were there, including Sheikra which was closed early in the afternoon -- so we went later in the day and one of the kids got stung by a bee on the first drop. AFTER we rode it and were getting some ointment for the sting from the first aid staff, we found out the ride had been closed due to a beehive... hmmmm... Falcon's Fury got stuck at the top twice while we were there (from 2 - 7). We got discounted rates for a sports event we were in town for. Most of us agreed we would not have paid full price for the experience. It's like a Six Flags at Disney World prices... Much of the staff were less than polite, but certainly not all. It seemed unnecessarily spread out, resulting in lots of walking to get from ride to ride. Seeing the hippo was a big draw for several kids and adults. Cheetah Hunt seemed to be the favorite ride among the group.
