A fantastic water park, but some of slides have lines that are too long in July. A couple of other slides would be great to decrease those. Aooears

"Nice and laid back - great 'first park' when you visit Orlando"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed December 07, 2017 NEW
Orlando is pretty overwhelming, so SeaWorld is a great park to do on your first day, and a good way to ease your way into the mayhem - it's relatively quiet, easy to do in a single day, but also has some amazing rides including some of the best coasters in Orlando. Manta, Mako and Kraken are all fantastic coasters. They aren't highly themed like you'd find at Universal or Disney, but they are all very impressive and normally a walk-on apart from Kraken with its disappointing VR and all the hassle that goes with it. Elsewhere, Journey to Atlantis is a great water ride and very well themed (you will get soaked in the front row), and there are also rides like Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin and Wild Arctic, both of which are not mind-blowing, but are a great introduction to two of the animal exhibits. Animal-wise, SeaWorld has lots to do with the Sea Lion and Dolphin Bay exhibits being personal favourites. You can also stroke various Rays and there are also plenty of other exhibits including sharks, fish, alligators and plenty more I have probably forgotten about. The shows are also very good, with the Shamu show and dolphin shows being highlights, and the sea lion show also being fun. All of them are super-slick and well produced. We visited in December and Sea World went waaaaaaaaaay beyond what any of the other Florida parks did for the holidays - there were hundreds and hundreds of Christmas trees, there were plenty of additional shows for Christmas alone (both ones with performing animals, and also ones like ice skating, light displays on the lake etc). This is a really nice park and a welcome change of pace from Disney and Universal. Although it has had its fair share of bad press (much of which has been discredited since), SeaWorld clearly does a lot for conservation and presents the animals to an audience that might otherwise be apathetic towards animals. Some of the enclosures seemed a bit small, but overall this is a great park, and unlike a lot of parks in Orlando doesn't require military precision in planning for a fun day. Transport tip: if you're on International Drive, you can just get an iRide trolley bus.

"This park was lame"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5

SeaWorld has sure changed a lot over the years. We did enjoy the dolphin show, but the killer whale show was probably the lamest we had seen the whole day. The only tricks the whales do today is just splash and get people wet. We did ride the virtual reality roller coaster and my wife’s headset fell off. The shark tank was very disappointing and they had the smallest aquarium ever at Atlantis. The best part about the day is that we had a military member in the family and it allowed us all to get into the park for free. Can’t say I would ever pay the $100 entry fee to get into the park otherwise!

"Great day out"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

We bought the three park tickets which included parking which made it very cost effective. I do feel that $20 for parking is very expensive. On our first couple of visits the park was reasonably quiet but then we went Thanksgiving week and wow what a difference. It was totally full, with most of the shows being over subscribed so we couldn't get to see them. The shows we did see were very good. I must comment that I found the workers in manatee and sea lion areas extremely helpful and very eager to help. We bought the refillable cups and what great value they turned out to be. $5.99 plus tax Refilled as many times as you like with either soda or Icee's at any of their parks.

Seaworld is amazing for everyone. There were 4 adults (1 in a wheelchair) and a 3 year old girl. The wheelchair access was great everywhere, although quite a hill push to get to the Shamu stadium and dolphin shows. We went to the grill restaurant by the bridge to the shamu stadium and the pretzel and nachos were enormous and delicious!!! I would go back every day if I could
