Great experience, safe and family friendly. Picnic tables available throughout, able to bring cooler's ( they open and check for alcohol etc at the gate) and leave them along with you're beach bags with no worries.
Tip: Dont be afraid of going to the kiddie sections, they have fun things and shotter lines. Wear swim shoes if possible, the concrete gets VERY hot on bare feet.

Thousands of screaming kids during the summer months. Some with awful manners. Long lines. Try to go when schools in session.

This water park is quite nice. It is huge with tons of water attractions like a lazy river, twisty watersides, racing watersides, a few splash pads/play grounds, and many raft slides. The place needs desperately to be cleaned up. It really needs to be shut down for 1 week, all hands on deck, and power wash and clean the slides and concrete. For example, at the bottom of the waterside when you lift yourself up off the slide, there is literally a thick black gunk (not sure if it's mold or dirt build up) on the sides of the slides. No excuses at all. This should be cleaned at least once a month to prevent build-up. The lounge chairs can use a power washing. They too are gunked up with black gunk and they are weathered. Also, the concrete in some of the splash play areas need a power washing too. Simple maintenance would do the trick and boost this old park to new again. It was super packed with long long lines but then again, it's July. They have a strict food policy so NO FOOD or Drinks except water is allowed in the park... but hey, why not make the most out of selling your food on sight... can not fault them for that. Great day but the cleanliness really killed it for us and we will not go back unless it really makes a 180 and cleans its act.

My family of four went for the day. Pros: clean, fun, safe. Cons: Not being able to bring in lunch or snacks for little kids, clarification on dress code needed. We arrived 30 min before park opened to get a good parking spot and get in line. We applied sunscreen in line so kids were ready to go when we entered. Hubby and I bought waterproof flat fanny packs on Amazon for keys etc. these were invaluable and cheap! We staked out two lounge chairs with our towels and sunscreen by the wave pool as a home base to return to during the day. This seems to be the common practice. No one bothered our bag or chairs which was nice. I was prepared to come back and find our stuff moved and chairs taken. The new wristband that you can use as a charge card while you are in the park is nice and convenient. Though I do miss the days of packing and picnicing then we'd just buy treats, wasn't anything my peanut butter sandwich loving child would eat. A thunderstorm popped up in the middle of the day, they closed the rides and pools for two hours. As a Floridian this was fine with me and we waited it out patiently. The nice thing about this is half of the visitors left and when they restarted everything there wasn't much wait. The only real problem we had was dress code. I read the rules before we went. My husbands and daughters have Irish skin and we have to be careful of the sun. Hubby has had skin cancer. So my hubby wore a tshirt with his suit, daughters had rashgaurd shirts and swim bottoms, we all had hats and water shoes. Hubby was told on one ride (the second time he went on) no cotton shirts allowed. This wasn't on the sign or on park dress code rules. My daughters were told no rashgaurd shirts allowed on another slide, again not on the sign or rules and waited in a long line to get to the top before being told this. So I would double check this if we went again.

I enjoyed the park. Is small and easy to navigate, no map needed. The wave pool and lazy river are nice, playful and relaxing. We went (and plan to continue) to attend on weekdays since we got there early and there were barely any shaded chairs, and in my opinion the park was already crowded by 11:00 am. Lockers are too small for a big bag if you have kids. They allow 1 bottle of water per person, so that's good. I did bring in snacks for me and my child w/o problems. My only complaint is that the kid's area, Fabian's Port, needs some love and improvement. Many of the metal poles were rusted and it may pose a risk to children. Also some of the water "games" on the area were broken (no water coming out of them).

Well going to a water park in Florida is a risky thing. Simply because it all can shut down when the thunder and lightning sets in. A bit expensive if you are unlucky like us..after about 2 hours the storm came, and that ruined the visit, but hey that's how it is in Florida in summer. The park in it self is a joy. But of course be prepared to pay for the fun. In the end had it been a sunny day without a storm.. I would have been satisfied
