Great experience, safe and family friendly. Picnic tables available throughout, able to bring cooler's ( they open and check for alcohol etc at the gate) and leave them along with you're beach bags with no worries.
Tip: Dont be afraid of going to the kiddie sections, they have fun things and shotter lines. Wear swim shoes if possible, the concrete gets VERY hot on bare feet.

"Very short visit, paid full price and 4 of 10 slide were shut down"

What a disappointment, I had a choice of Adventure Island in Tampa, or Aquatica in Orlando, I chose Adventure Island due to higher reviews. I paid full price for park entry, and paid full price for parking, it wasn't until I was in the park that I found out (on my own) that 3 rides were shut down, only half of the Lazy River was open, and a fourth was shut down mid morning. After talking with the staff, some claimed that the slides were broken, but most said there was a shortage of lifeguards that day and they had to shut down most of the slides(Which I believe to be true). I can understand a shortage of employee's, but why not cycle through the slides every hour or so. Either way, broken or short staffed...why still charge full price? or why not inform us before entry? I drove from a hotel in Orlando (next to Aquatica) to visit this disappointment!

Food policy is horrible. No snacks? How are we to manage food allergies with this insane policy? We will not renew our pass. It just isn't worth it. Very limited food options, insanely priced, and long wait times

Our family had a great time at the park. The park is well organized, clean, and has a good variety of rides for all ages. Our children are 12, 10, and 4. They all had a great time and can't wait to go back. The employees were friendly, polite, and cheerful. Great day!

"A fun way to spend a hot day"

First things first do not visit here in the hot summer months without either flipflops or pool shoes. The ground is extremely hot to the point it's unbearably painful to walk barefoot. They have a number of the high and fast thrill rides and also a lazy river. There is a kids section for the smaller guests. You can rent out a gazebo which comes with 4 loungers and a fridge and locker. There is water in the fridge. This would work out a great deal for families as you have a central covered point to come back to. There is a staff member on duty to ensure nothing is touched. There are also general lockers for either $15 or $20 depending on size. They are pin operated. Another tip would be to buy a waterproof pouch for some cash and your phone. There were no queues as we were there during schooltimes. I imagine it might not be so pleasant on a baking hot July day with long queues. We bought a ticket that cost $149.99 each. It gave free parking and unlimited entry to 4 parks. We bought this on the internet while in the US. We couldn't see anything as cheap when we were looking from the UK. They also do a deal in the park where you pay $14.99 for a large reusable plastic drinks pot with a straw and carry handle. On the day of purchase you can refill this as many times as you want. A single regular drink is $3 so well worth the pot. Bring the pot back and pay $6.99 for unlimited refills on that day.
