Ring in 2009 at Universal Orlando Resort

Turn on the night and take the party to the streets is the theme of Universal Orlando's New Year's Eve Celebration 2008. Universal CityWalk's annual New Year's Eve celebration will include non-stop dancing and entertainment throughout the night as the Doobie Brothers headline the evening, rocking in the new year.

At New Year's Eve 2008 at Universal CityWalk, you can enjoy live music on the main stage as well as inside participating CityWalk venues: Pat O'Brien's, the groove, Bob Marley's, Latin Quarter, CityJazz, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville and the Red Coconut Club - CityWalk's newest ultra-chic, upscale lounge. An unlimited, gourmet buffet includes food like filet mignon, jumbo shrimp, desserts and is included in the event admission price. At the stroke of midnight a champagne toast is included as fireworks light up the sky.

Tickets are $119.00 plus tax per person. Save money when tickets are purchased in advance or with American Express. You must be 21 years old to attend the event, and tickets do not include admission to Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure.
Celebrate the New Year at either or both of Universal Orlando's theme parks - Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Both theme parks will be open for extended hours. Universal Orlando will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. on New Year's Eve and Islands of Adventure from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. This is a great opportunity to ring in the New Year at one of your favorite Theme Parks.

New Year's Eve festivities in the parks include party zones that will feature DJs, character appearances and fireworks at midnight. Admission to the theme parks on New Year's Eve is the same as the standard gate price.
