Universal Resort's Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit Coaster Now Opening Summer 2009

Universal Orlando Resort's new roller coaster "Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit" is now scheduled to open in Summer 2009, as opposed to their previously stated opening date of Spring 2009.

The ride is unique in that it combines audio and special effects engineering that will fly riders at 65 mph and 17 stories over Universal Studios.

The interactive ride allows riders to select a song to play during their ride and their entire riding expereicne will be captured on video. Once the ride is over, guests can edit their video and share it with friends and family. It is the perfect combination of the digital age and theme park thrills.
